I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hasn't made the switch straight away! No longer need to feel inadequate ;) It's happening gradually for me. So have stopped knocking myself for not making the swap straight away. I don't want it to feel like a chore so am trying to do it naturally, that way hopefully I'll have more success!

Have only had 3 normal cigs day, believe me a big improvement on normal!

so thanks guys, keep on supporting us newbies even if we do drive you mad with our daft questions at times:D

I don't think anyone should make it any more difficult than it already is to quit. Whatever level you feel comfortable with has to be the way forward. After all, if you don't like it you just slip back into your comfort zone and buy a packet of cigs.

I'm just finding it more useful to cut cigs out completely because the e-cigs really work for me, and I'm not sure I would manage it otherwise.

So keep up the good work!

I've been smoking real cigs again the past few days since dropping my poor e-cig and breaking the battery:( Not having my e-cig is sooooo inconvenient. Have to go outside at work for a ciggy. At least the weather here today has been glorious:D Just came back from my non-smoking friend's house (we went shopping today) and she asked where my e-cig was. I had to go into her garden for a smoke.

Happily, I've got two ordered - one from Pillbox (DSE103) and the purple one (no idea what make it is, probably generic). Hopefully, fingers crossed they'll arrive, or at least one of them, tomorrow:D

What's got me most about smoking real cigs (I like smoking anyway) is the sheer cost of a packet of cigs. I just paid £4.10 for one of the cheaper brands (over $8). I'm sure the UK must have the most expensive cigarettes in the world:mad:

Lady python, where are you to have glorious weather? It's just not fair! soory but I really the sun and haven't had any yet this year so am a tad obsessed:rolleyes:

I LOVE real cigs, and there's my problem, it's not just the nictotine, I was dreaming about smoking at fourteen for goodness sake!

I gave myself hell the first few days after my e-cig arrived, thinking I should quit altogether, however for all of you out there who are new to it and struggling.....Don't beat yourself up, keep doing both and it will happen...The taste improves, it gets easier to "smoke" take it slowly and don't put yourself under pressure is my advice! I have tried soooo many ways to quit you wouldn't believe it (ask my poor husband) and want this to feel as though I am not "giving up", so far it's working ;) and THAT my friends is a MIRACLE!
