Hooray! The RIVA 901 has arrived.

I took everything out of the packaging and blew out the atty as advised. There was next to nothing in it. Loaded it with a cartridge and decided to give it a whirl before charging. Smoke production was minimal...maybe this just needs to be charged? Strike that....vapor production minimal. Maybe I am in too big of a rush? LOL

Anything else that I should know about the set up and getting going?

On the upside though....the menthol that was sent in the cartridges is not bad at all! : )

also....didn't I see somewhere that it is okay to remove filler and just place e-juice into the cartridge. I may just be extremely confused. LOL. I have gone from rushing the mailman to rushing the charger now. Tehe...I feel like a giddy school girl, although those days have long passed.

Hi Lucinda!

I'm glad you're so enthusiastic about your Riva! I have the same one (I think) and found that I needed to charge it a bit more than it was and add more juice to get an awesome TH and vapor production from it. Are you a menthol fan? I've been vaping with a Cinnamint juice from Kick Bass Vapor and it totally rocks!!

Since I do not yet have a drip tip, in order to drip directly into the atty, do I simply fill the cart without the little cotton filly stuff or drop some e-juice on the atty metal thingie (sorry, working on the lingo, I think it's a bridge?) or maybe both?

Also, yes, I started with menthol because my analog poison of choice was menthol and just trying to fill that taste for the moment. Going to order a starter pack for some other flavors to try out though once I get the hang of actually vaping.

But, I must be doing a little something right....no nic fit and no analogs since it arrived two hours ago. YEAH!

the riva 901 with mega808 cartos &/or the LR901 w/ a drip tip from ikv & fully charged performs awesome.
