For a first kit, you didn't do bad at all. I don't like their modded batterys personally, i prefer the proper Kanger one's with the stiffer draw and not so much air going in it's annoying, i felt like a marlboro red smoker who's been given an ultra light cigarette, lol.

Still you'll get the jist of it with that kit then you can decide what stuff you do or don't like, the KR8 is definitely noob friendly :)

The 'waffle phase'....that's where I am now. There is so much info out there, it only took 2 days of research for me to be burnt. I can see me making a choice in the next week or 2. It seems clear most vapers buy multiple pvs. Am I to infer from this that NO ONE has found a cig they like so much, they no longer feel the need to purchase another? That's a worrisome trend for me. Still, even with the cost of multiple pvs, it HAS to be cheaper and waaaay better than the 2-3pks of analog I smoke now!

There you go. As for multi models, people need to see if they're missing out on something compared to what they're using. But you can buy 1 model and get adapters for most othe models for expermentation. I just got my 1st set of 5 cartos and adapter to try, after doing this for 2 1/2 months on a 510, for $15. That's the cost of 3 packs.

Thanks everyone for the replies and comps. on ride. I know this has got to be better than analogs and in hopes that I can quit them I really want to cause have been doing it for 40 years and is really getting to me along with the hassle of going outdoors and just really dislike smoking.

I came off them after 30yrs straight, 1 1/2 a day. Same feelings towards the habit.

I have just one: the Vapor King from V4L. I have not smoked in 2.5 months and I was a 37+ year smoker of between 1-2 packs a day. I love my VK!

I am looking at other models because I love vaping and I want to experiment, but I don't have a real NEED to do so... the VK is an excellent e-cig.

There are a couple of factors at work here...

First there is the fact that different models have different pluses and minuses, and nobody ever REALLY knows what they want (or don't want) until they actually get one in their hands and start using it.

Then there is the fact that some people are never really satisfied with being satisfied, and have a very strong inner desire to chase perfection, which may never be found.

Also this is a lot of fun, and trying new things is fun, and buying new toys is fun, and waiting for the mailman to bring you new goodies is fun, and some people start to look at this as a sort of hobby.

And finally, the fact that a lot of money can be saved using electronic cigarettes can often act as a motivating factor to spend said money, perhaps even before you have actually saved it.
:)
