Hello to All,

Discovered vaping in a gun owner's forum and someone mentioned this forum. Been vaping for 3 wks now and decided it's time to join here.

Still enjoy an analog with that first cup of coffee, but considering I've smoked 2 packs of Winstons for almost 40 yrs, that is a BIG IMPROVEMENT.

Just wish I had been aware of E-CIGS sooner...

Love this site!

Hi CSN you must be young like me ROFL as i have been doing just what you describe in habit with Marl and wish that i found them much much sooner but back in the day there just was not as you well know.
Went to Doc few months back for upper resp prblems and they did a chest xray and said he saw nothing to be alarmed about but could tell i was a smoker.
I mention to him about vaping and explained it and he said well you smoked for long time and your lungs will start to get better with time.
Walked outta there feeling better until i thought dang wonder how much time i have i'm not that young anymore...lol
Best to you!

Grats and welcome!! If you ever want to eliminate that first one, what I do Is set my spares up late night and leave them set up overnight, and the second I get up I can pick them up and vape. And no fighting with atomizers - I use cartomizers and late night I top them off. I leave the spare laying on their sides and in the morning just pick it up and vape.

Some people use special morning vapes like tobacco coffee flavors (not sure how that would work WITH coffee - I'm a tea drinker).

English Toffee would probably go with coffee, but the REAL problem is I had an entire carton of Winstons when my ego-t kit arrived. As I said earlier, I read about it on my gunowners forum and thought, what the heck? For a little more than the price of a carton it's worth a shot. I wasn't really thinking about quitting when it arrived but it surely satisfies and has made me almost quit without really trying. Now, if they could only come up wth a weight loss program that works the same!

What I have found surprising is that I am loving sweet fluids.....english toffee, butterscotch and RED HOTs. The 'winston' flavor stuff i bought is being missed with the former.
I hear ya. I laughed when the guy trying to sell me a Blu said that one of the cartos that came with it was blueberry. I mean, wtf?
Now, I find that the sweet stuff ain't bad. I'm still on tobacco flavors, but now some with sweeteners, caramel, clove, anise... and I like it! :/ I find myself adding sweeteners to most tobacco flavors.

Well if you want a little english toffee in the morning then feel free to vape all you like. There is bacon flavored ejuice, danish, waffles, pumpkin pie, etc. The list literally goes on and on. I have heard of some people who lose weight because of vaping.

Oh yeah, welcome to ECF !!!

Thread talking about weight loss/gain while vaping

Hee hee! That about parallels my experience. I got a pink slip from the P.O. that my eGo starter kit plus juices from Liberty Flights had arrived back on February 25th. I figured I'd pick up the starter kit, etc., after I made my every-third-week trip up to Lake County to buy my usual six cartons of cigarettes (with a $12/carton tax differential, the trek was worth it). Today is December 14. I still have one carton and six unopened packs left from that run to Lake County -- you do the math.

I've been trying to finish those cigarettes: after all, I invested in them, so by gum, I'm going to smoke them! Many days I just plain forget to light a cigarette; most days it's one or two.

It's astonishing how easily you can transition to vaping, isn't it?

Having grown up in Whiting IN, I never realized the Ilinois effect til I moved to FT Wayne. Cigs are cheaper out here since I guess our stores don't benefit from you folks crossing the line to save money!!!!

Anyways, you are sooo right. Really haven't missed a beat vaping, but I am CHEAP (prefer THRIFTY)

By the way, csnoski, welcome to the ECF party!

Actually, I live in the northern half of Cook County and I used to make the trek to Lake County in Illinois. I understand Illinois state troopers guard the border and watch Illinois-plated cars going to and from Lake County, Indiana. Every so often they pull over some unlucky mope, who's then subject to huge fines. This has put a considerable damper on Illinois folks crossing the Indiana border for cheaper cigarettes. But there's no problem in Illinois if you go to the next Illinois county for cheaper smokes. Yet.

Come to Illinois for the climate, stay for the taxes.

LOL!!! The troopers catch folks with fireworks, too! And to think back in the 60's my big bro had a license plate that said "Indiana Land of Taxes"
