I just switched to a new cartomizer for my vapor king and cant help but notice a horrible after taste. This is disapointing, because if it is the cartomizer i am at work and didnt think i would need to bring another one. Anyone know the reason for this bad after taste occuring?

Could be a burnt carto. Does it have kind of a chemical/plastic taste? I got that from a good number of my prefilled cartos after minimal use so I'm using the same few for refills. I think quality control has been shaky from time to time or a bad batch popped up when my order was packed. Still beats smoking.
I've never had a cartomizer burn from V4L...not unless I let it run completely dry and continue vaping on it.
+1 Logrus, I've had it happen with bonus cartos. It could also be a drained battery, battery fade will also make a Carto taste bad.
I've learned the hard way, if you think you only need 1 cartomizer, bring 3.
After buying literally 100's of carts, I've gotten maybe 2-3 bad ones. You just got lucky early. lol Seriously, it must just be a bad cart, probably not filled correctly, but it's very rare. Like everyone else has said, never leave home without at least 3-5 extra carts and a few batts. I like to take several flvaors when I'm out. My carrying case holds 4 and my PCC holds 2, and I use them. That's 6 carts and 3 batts (with a charger).
I'm so glad to see this - I was afraid I was the only one terrified to leave the house without a host of carts and batts!
I have to admit I'm bad about this also... I never leave the house with less than 2 fresh, loaded batteries and a couple of extra carts just in case - oh well...
Doesn't seem like a 'bad' thing at all. I never used to leave the house without a semi-full pack of smokes. This is no different. PCC with a battery & 2 carts, another battery with cart on in the little pouch, and off I go.
I'm glad I got into this habit. I just fired up an XL Diamond batt I charged up 2 days ago and it was DEAD at the bar. I had extras and passed out V4L business cards. But I will make a trouble ticket on this batt since it's only been used a couple times. Your philososphy must be: Snit happens. Be prepared.
Max - one thing to check on my diamond batt's I normally have to lift the post every time, but once I do it's worth it
But this time the LED just started blinking and the poor batt was screaming, "I am dead!" I replied, "But I just charged you up." She gave me one last look and died in my arms. Someone saw me start to tear up and bought me a drink. I'm like, what the heck, free drinks!!
