I've read in serveral places that the atamizer should get warm but not hot, can anyone tell me what causes them to get overly warm/hot? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if "that's just the way it is". Btw, I've got the Joye510 and as of yesterday using the "dart" mod, which doesn't seem to make a difference.

I'm asking because mine seems to get pretty hot with a 1-2 sec warmup and a 2-3 second hit with plenty of juice.

Thanks for any help!

Several of my manual batteries have switches that seem to stick. When this happens, if I don't catch it, the atty gets REALLY hot.

Just yesterday I was playing my video game. I took a hit off my 510 and set it down. I played my game for 4 or 5 minutes. Then, when I went to take another hit, the atty burned my fingers. I picked that sucker up & felt a surge of pain & tossed it.

Turns out it had melted my cartridge pretty badly. And the smell of burning plastic seems to be stuck in the atty right now. Hopefully that goes away. It still seems to work so far though.
