Hi. So I bought the elite hybrid mod and replaced the spring with a brass screw like people said to do on the forums. But now I get a very hot button 30% of the time. Is there any fix for this? Or does anyone have an idea of why this is happening? My Coil doesn't have any hotspots or hot legs. It does this with 18650 and 18350 AW IMR batts. I'm using 28G Kanthal with 4 wraps clocked in at 1.1Ohms. Thanks for any help.

Hot Button usually= electrical short = DANGER! When this happens, remove your battery. Is it also hot? If so, you've got something touching something else that ain't supposed to be touching. Many of these mechanical devices rely on clearances of sometimes less than 1 mm between positive and negative parts of the circuit. Metal tends to expand when heated, and you're also screwing and unscrewing parts quite often, so....plenty of opportunities for electrical mayhem; even only 30% of the time.

Very much this. Key word being DANGER

What is the amp limit on your battery? Important to know. Do you have a multimeter? Important to have.
