Hot juice in eye!

As the title suggests iv just managed to get hot juice in my eye from looki g down the end of my aty as it seemed to be majorly flooded-

Bloody hell does it sting at first and iv never moved into the shower so quickly!

Rinsed it out for a bit and seems ok now but should I be worried atall?

and that was bad enough I can't imagine getting it in your eye.

I'm also bad at rubbing my eye with juice on my hands

Seems ok- just had my head in the sink to give it another wash stings a little Bit now but I think that's just from the water in my eye not the burning sensation from what the juice gave before

That pointy part goes in your mouth, the viewing lens is an add on for high end mods

You'll be fine just be thankful it wasn't cinnamon oil juice.

Can I just say "OWWWWW!!!!"? Hope you weren't wearing contacts! Give it a good flush and if it feels really dry put some synthetic tears to rehydrate. I'm guessing if e juice vapors dry out my mouth and throat I can only imagine what it could do to your eyes.

Yeah. Not a good idea to be vaping while laying down. Accidents like this can occur pretty easily, but good thing you're okay man. Flushed out good and if you can see, you're GOOD

Dang, that had to suck. Ouch. To my own surprise, I've not done this one yet. Perhaps it's just a habit from being an EDC handgun guy to not look down the business end of things like that.

ive done that twice in my time of vaping and yes...it does suck...last time i did it my eye was red for half a day

It happened to me too with my vamo and an overfilled carto....my eyes are fine and so are yours!

That's scary. The weird thing about juice that I've found is that it doesn't evaporate very quickly. I filled up some cartos before going on a short vake on a Wednesday, got a small drop on my desk, and when I came back Sunday night the drop was still there. Good thing you hit the showers right away or it could have stayed in there and irritated you.

If it bothers you at all in the morning you should see your eye doctor.

Some people just need to wear eye protection while vaping....

I've done that same thing..stings for a minute, then goes away. Wash it out with some water. If it lasts a long time, or you get swelling or other physical signs...then I would get it looked at.

Never been a good idea to look down the barrel when pulling the trigger

Wouldn't have helped in the OP's case, but I got tired of my atties spitting at me a long time ago. Now all my drip tips have a bridge from old atties inside them.

I would go to the nearest first aid post only if it hit the cornea of my eye, most likely clouding up my vision directly. Otherwise just rinse and rinse some more.
