Hot Leads

So rebuilt my coil yesterday and she's hitting like a BEAST

I saw hot leads yesterday which I thought I fixed, but it seems they are back

How would you fix? I kinda fluffed the cotton up that's underneath the leads to touch them a little more and fired it and
it seems to be working, but what are my options?

What are you building on, what is your coil resistance, what gauge wire?

And can you upload a pic of the build?

Its a tobh clone, resistance is ~0.5 ohms 28GA Kanthal

I can't say it's definitely the cause, but I usually build with my legs a little shorter, and make sure your post screws are snugged up properly.

It could just be the pic, but it looks like the lower coil is jacked up compared to the top coil. Might want to pull the wick, dry burn and tease them back into shape. Hard to tell though.
