I made my first coil on the ZAP last night, and while pulsing it into submission got it to where it was firing on all cylinders, I used some 34 gauge I had laying around to play with, all seemed well until I put fluid to it and then it makes good flavor but the throat hit was terrible. I pulled the cap back off and when I fired I saw the legs to the coil were glowing red hot, was still producing vapor. Is this normal or is something off?

No experience w/34g wire, but I still think the legs shouldn't glow. Maybe they're pulled too taunt?

Got it all worked out. It was too loose on top. Switched which side I put the wire on the pos post and boom. Super smooth awesome flavorful vapes back to back. Thanks fellas. Now once my temco order finally gets shipped out I can quit BS with these high res coils.

Not sure what the 38 gauge comment was for??
