Hot pocket

I was at a store last night shopping when all of a sudden I felt something getting hot in my shirt pocket which I had my cell phone and pcc ..I placed my manual ecig in same pocket
didnt realized I put it there,will while shopping I felt something getting a little warm and warmer then very warm I reached in my pocket to find out what was going on soon as I felt the tip of my ecig I realized the source grabbed it out and felt the cart end man was it hot wasnt a melt down but it did burn the cart up inside and It was a new cart.

I have a tank I use at home and carts on the go..This is my first experience with this situation..The manual switch was pressed down by putting it in between cell and pcc...
Has any body else ever had this to happen...Will It was a very stupid thing I did..

Yes hersch had that happen once with a manual, kinda scary as you found out! Another reason why I like autos more

Even though it was because the button was pushed while in your pocket Hersch, charged batteries should be kept separate from other metal articles because it can cause a short-circuit damaging the batteries. Glad you didn't injure/burn yourself!

I didnt damage the battery I tested it still normal,I was using a wow cart I know they are less resistance..But that incident was merely a mistake..There is a First time for everything...I have been vaping for over 2 years,this is the first incident..Also battery was a standard ash cap...

I havent burnt anything but around the house have put one in my front jeans pocket ...lol then i hear this hissing noise and take it out ...done it several times cause im a dork

I've had it happen with my provari in my pocket, forgot to turn it off and had the atty BURNING hot. Ish happens

I'm glad the battery still functions and any damage was limited to only the carto. I have never had it happen with a V4L battery, but had a similar experience with a PT. It was totally my own fault, I overfilled a carto and put it on the Auto PT thinking I could just burn the excess off.

Before I could take a draw I got a phone call so I laid the PT on my desktop..as I'm talking I notice steaming hot juice is shooting out of the PT. I instantly disconnected the usb connection and that carto was piping hot. The PT survived another 5 months, but the carto was fried.

It's so funny/weird when this happen's.........it take's me a few moment's (as it get's hotter) for my brain to connect where the feeling of heat is coming from... then DUH!!!!!!!!

I've been lucky. At work, I keep it on my ID lanyard. At home, I an use improvised stand in the living room & in my office. Out & about I clip it inside my empty cargo pocket.

Sure have, Some Russian cold weather front. It's almost unheard of getting the sub 0 temps we are getting in the UK. Reminds me of when I lived in Norway, now that was cold!

Our weather here doesn't get extremely cold anymore,unseasonably mild winters..Years ago winter here got below zero -10 to -20f.Wind chills at that time was -40 to a few times -70f...I wonder if vaping is effected by these low temps?
