What i have is the AGA t+ and the part coming off the last coil to the positive post, that bridge is getting red this is not suppose to right? Iv fiddled with this thing trying to get rid of it, sometimes it is got for about 3secs then starts to get red other times instant red.

I think mabey cause the end was running dry on juice once i tip it and get some juice flowing it stays black.

its not supposed to happen, even with a proper wick it will still happen. its not a wicking issue, its just a tension issue. usually its because the top wire going to the positive post is either to tight or to loose. as you tighten the top nut make sure it doesnt pull the wick over, sometimes in order to properly tighten the connection you may have to tighten up the lower nut as well as the top one. also make sure that when tightening the nut that it doesnt pull the wire to the outer edge of the nut, the wire connection needs to be as close to the positive post as possible, like i said sometimes as you tighten the nut up the wire likes to slip outwards towards the nuts edge, this is not good. tension of the wire is key. counter clockwise around wick, clockwise around positive post. also i know on the aga-t the distance from pp to wick is a little far, most put a washer on pp to reduce the distance, but i have heard that the aga plus might have a closer distance and that the washers are not needed, i am not 100 percent sure on this as i only own the regular aga-t. but if in question you can very slightly bend over the wick, just a little bit towards pp, then attach wires, but still there can be no tension on this top coil, so make sure if you bend slightly that the wick doesnt want to spring back away from pp. good luck
