Heat wave going around the US. I am in Palm Springs and it is normal for us to be over 100.
I took my mad vapes vv box mod with vivi nova tank to the pool with me. When I got out it gurgled and the steel was almost too hot to touch. So I think the warm weather heat, made the wicking continue to wick just sitting there.

So if you are vaping out doors in hot weather, I don't think it will work as good as in cool weather.

Anyone else experience this?

A tank is going to gurgle in the heat. The sun heats the tank, the tank heats the juice, the juice get's thin and expands both of which leads to flooding.

I have the same problem here in Austin, the best counter I've found is try to keep your pv in the shade and out of direct sunlight as much as practical. I went down to the pool the other day to cool off a bit and didn't realize I left my SB on top of the towel instead of covering it up as usual. When the Super T stainless drip tip touched my lips I thought I was having a battery fire, but it was just the sun's heat. Needless to say I'm trying to be more careful in the future, besides, what could be better than sitting by the pool vaping on some Margarita juice!

I left my SB in the car when I went in to get a hair cut the other day. Unfortunately, the nice lady that cuts my hair was styling some old lady's hair, so I got to wait like 45 minutes, while my SB turned into magma. Once I came out, it was worse than a hot steering wheel. The one thing that I noticed was that the battery inside was super hot too, so I changed the battery out immediately and cooled the SB down with my AC.

If this happens, I would be very careful about the batteries, that's the part we're worried about. If the tank spills or leaks on you, it's usually not a big deal. If the batteries get too hot, and then you heat them up some more, bad things can happen.

So please, if your mod gets hot, change the batteries, or let them cool off before you use it.
