4-5 hours sounds good. I drain my 510 battery in about 1 hour or less.

4-5 hours here too, a shade under 1 ml of liquid in that time frame.

Another thing to consider, though. I use pen style attys exclusively in the S6. Being that the resistance is lower for the 510 (more amperage) you should expect less than that.

How much time a battery lasts w/o including how much liquid is used in that time span doesn't mean all that much to me, btw. Words like "moderate" and "heavy" and "light" mean even less to me.

I swap out batteries around 2 to 3 times a day. I get 4 to 6 hours. I feel I vape on the Heavy side compared to the average person vapeing I am not out and out constant but heavy.

The best thing about the Super 6 and 3.7 vapeing altho it would be nice If it had the ability to go all day on 1 battery with a Heavy vaper as myself. But the 14500 is one of or if not the best PV battery when it comes to being cosistant.... What i mean by that is it hits awsome every time for the 4 to 6 hours of use and does not degrade as time goes on during use as a majority of others do. When the 14500 reaches the end of it's charge you know it. With a majority of others they string you along ....at first the performance/hit is awsone every time for a period.... then the performance/hit is good for a period.....then the performance/hit is just ok for a period of time.....then the performance poor and throught this process of being agravated you are running out of lungs before geting a satisfying hit. I know everyone has been there you have to increase your draw time to get the hit you want when batteried go through the degradeing process.

I woul much rather have my PV's hit & performance to be awsome consistantly throughout rathe then the degradeing over time effect.
Just my 2 pennies

I've pretty much been hooked on 6V since I got the S6, so my 14500s stay in my e-smoking bag most of the time. I've been getting 2 to 3 hours on the UltraFire unprotected CR2's and around 2 hours on the Excellerator LiFePO4 CR2's.

Jeff, I've experienced the vapor fall off like you've talked about on my super mini I use to vape. The CR2's seem to hold up pretty good though. The start off at 3.6-3.8 volts and stay over 3.2 most of the time. At the end they seem to drop to the 2.8 to 3.0 volt range and that's when I change them as the vapor production really drops off.

I have been opisite....wehn I received my Super 6 I have been vapeing useing 3.7 just because the consistancy of the 14500 batery (But with the T-Tips exclusively dripping). I can tell by 1 hit ....ok its ready to swap out the 14500 battery. But right before i got my super 6 I was on a 6 volt 510 HV run or 3.7 with Cartomizer.

But I am known to swap around soo much with devices and attys and known to use the 510 ,901, cartomizer and 801 the 510 being my main atty of choice.

I have made at least 20 different Mod's and give them to friends who can't really afford buying pricy mods it's better then them going back to the analogs. Being I have made soo many mods I have expeiremented with all the batteries and the best & most consistant batteries I have found to date for me and the devices I have been useing is the 14500 for 3.7 volt. The rechargable CR 123 for 6 Volt's. Hands down with consistancy!

Jeff, I don't have near the experience as you do with PV's. I am happy though with the vapor production on the S6 with the dual CR2's. It may be that I came from a super mini and the vapor drops off really quick on those. What I tried of the 14500's I was very happy, the 6V just gives me that extra throat hit I like and I get nice consistent vapor production for several hours.

Thanks,
David

Well first off their is a big difference between Cr2 & CR123 batteries the bigger CR 123 batteries are way better then the CR 2 when it comes to consistancy.(I do have some unprotected Ultrafire on order which I have never used so guess time will tell when I get them)
I will be honest it's easy to get hooked on the 6volt....there was times I stayed vapeing on it for a while and going back to 3.7 is like oh no it just doesnt cut it. But I have found you can copinsate by the e-juice nic level and a drop or 2 of high alchol content such as everclear or vodka that always improves and produces A stronger throat hit... NO REGULAR RUBBING ALCHOL OR THE MEDICAL STUFF. If you have a good performing attomizer that's also huge( if I have a strong /good performing atty I will stick with 3.7 until it's performance declines then switch it to 6 volt) I find when a atty start to loose their kick the only thing that works is 6 volt.... they get to the point where going to higher e-juice or a drop or two of everclear does not work. Also a rule of thumb VG based e-juice has better vapor. PG has a stronger throat hit. I have found straight VG based juice has almost no throat hit but huge clouds of vapor and does nothing for me unless it has like 36 MG nic or high nicotine and added everclear to boost the throat hit. I found that out because my sister is Alergic to the PG and can only use VG.

It's suprizeing you useing the 901 as I have found they kinda don't last a long period of time on 6 volt but the 510 & 801 do. and the 901 seems to hold up on 3.7 (May have just been the brand I was buying) but I have killed a few 901 attys on 6 volt.

Expeirement a little what's important is what works best for the way you like to vape. Some people just don't care for anything less then 6 volts. It is just too harsh and I can't take the burnt taste with a stron atty and certin batteries thats why I went to the HV 510 atty on 6 volts seems to be the sweetspot for my choice of vapeing.

Best Wishes
Jeff

Jeff, I have been using mostly HV atomizers for 6 volts as I ran out of 3.7 volt ones and only had HV left. I've been pretty happy with them. I have gone through quite a few atomizers, 11 to be exact, but I've always been hard on them. It's still cheaper than smoking, plus I'm still new to 6V and dripping. Hopefully I will get some longer life out of them as learn more.

Are you talking about the LifePo4's?

Beware of them as I have read that some Chinese distributors are actually selling fake LifePo4's that are really CR2's in disguise...

If you want to use CR2's then make sure you get the GREEN ones.... From all I have read it's the BLUE CR2's that are at issue...

I think the LifePo4's would be a good option if you get them from a reputable source... If not, you'd be rolling the dice that they are re-branded and junk blue CR2's in disguise...

Well i only Vape 6 Volts i actually cannot Vape 3.7 at all, it does nothing for me....As far as HV attys i have been looking for some, but have no idea where to start....I had tried some HV attys in the past but was very disappointed in them, maybe just got a bad batch or something....But lately i have been hearing a lot about them again, so i would like to give them a try once more....But here is my problem what is the difference in the HV attys... Here is an example of what i mean....I found this one supplier who sells them and this is the description.....

(1) "High Voltage 510 Atomizer w/ 4.5 Resistance"

(2)"High Voltage 510 Atomizers at 5.2 Ohms...These will take Approximately 2 Volts Off of the Source Voltage"

Maybe someone could shed some light for me on this, cause i do not understand this at all.....

Thanks in advance....

I guess the BB explosion was with LifePo4s from Summit. I guess you cannot trust those unless they are verifiable.
