I've had a Super Six for over a year now, and while I've always liked it, the vaping time at 6V with the CR2 batteries is horrible. I ended up going back to smoking, now I'm trying to get off the analogs again. I'm thinking about buying the Precise 18650 and using it with two CR123a batteries.

Can anyone compare the vaping time at 6 volts between these two devices, or any two devices where it's CR2 vs CR123a? I'm just tired of changing batteries every hour or two.

Thanks,
David

I've never used CR2 batteries but I do use my P18 with two stacked AW LiFePO4 3.2V batts and 3.5 ohm atties. When I was vaping between 5 - 6 mls per day, I was going through about three sets of batteries per day. Now I vape between 2 - 3 ml per day and a set of AW LiFePO4 batts lasts me approximately 8 hrs, or about two sets per day. YMMV...

why not just use an AW 18650 batt and LR510?

Lasts for hours and hits real good.
When I was first getting off analogs 3.7 did not cut it even with a lr atty. That is mostly what I use now but when getting off analogs HV was the only way I was satisfied and while the lr3.7 combo is close it still isnt HV. That is my guess why he want 6v.

In response to the op, I have used both for 6volts and I would venture to say you get not quite twice as much vaping time depending on what batteries you are using. I hat cr2s for 6 volts it is ridiculous

My wife uses a LR atomizer on her Precise 10440, I don't think it's strong enough for me. I'm a 3 to 4 pack/day smoker. So I like something strong.

With my old CR2's I'm getting 30 mins to 1.5 hours at 6Vs. If I got new ones I could get 1 to 2.5 hours probably... still that's probably at least 6 sets of batteries a day. It really gets to be a problem when I go off to work, our out for a night, and need to take so many batteries just to make it. I imagine I vape about 5-6ml/day also. I know a 30ml bottle only lasts me about 5 to 7 days.

Thanks for all the info, if I could get almost double the vaping time with CR123a's, it would be worth it to me.

I know what your saying, I was a two pack a day smoker and when I first started, my wife had a p10 and it just did not cut it for me. I still vape roughly 4 ml a day but I am now satisfied with 3.7 to 4.2. I say go for the p18 and make sure to label your batteries so you can rotate them from top to bottom cuz that will prolong there life.

djdavis75, if you decide you want to buy a P18 and want to sell your Six, let me know, I don't mind switching out the batteries all the time. If the price is right, I'd be glad to take the Six.

Lol, I made this same offer to him the day he made the post. I assume he still holds it dear to his heart as he should.
