Sorry folks, been so busy here I haven't even had any real sightseeing time. 10 to 12 hour days then eat/drink then off to bed. Even been working weekends. 
They are wanting me to come back for another month or 2. I'm going to fly the wife out to join me the next time out for a couple of weeks.

And as someone who was in a similar situation, pick a place between here and there, and (as a point of negotiation, make them pay at least airfare, I mean, you are in demand, my friend) go explore and vaca another part of the world.
The cool thing in your situation, since there and here are opposite sides of the 3rd rock, everything is between here and there.
I'm sure my fellow Halons will chime in, but New Zealand sounds amazing, as does Bora Bora, Tahiti, or any of the thousands of WARM ISLANDS with SAND, SUN, and not so much clothing...

I wish I had more free time having worked the last two weekends. Stealth vamping has been going well, no funny looks from anyone at hawkers while snagging a finished with work beer. I brought more than enough juice with me, I've only gone through about 60 ml total and brought 270 mls. Looking forward to getting home to see my wife and kids.
We made our commitment for service for our customer! So tonight it will be Woodford's Reserve bourbon and pizza with coworkers in my apartment...

My stay here has now been extended until April 1st. sigh... And no this is not an early April Fool's joke...
I'm going to rent a car and try my hand at driving on the wrong side of the road. Carrying all the stuff I need to carry in taxi cabs and on foot has gotten old.
And I'm still working weekends... big sigh...
First day driving on the wrong side of the car and road. No accidents caused or involved in. But lots of times turning on the windshield wipers when I wanted to hit the turn signal...
These are pics of what I'm working on. One is a Switch Room in a HDB (high density building) aka apartment building. This is the electrical room for all the common areas of the HDB. Most of these are a mess and feel like a sauna from the heat and humidity.

In Singapore time I take off on Friday 4/4 @ 5:20AM which translates to Thursday 4/3 @ 5:20PM EDT or 2:20PM PDT for my home time. I arrive on Friday @ 12:20PM PDT in Fresno and approximately at my front door around 2PM PDT.
And yes, I will be disoriented literally and figuratively...
