So I am one of the people that is just not really a fan of PG, to me VG is were it is at. For the longest time I was forced to drip into a 510 or 306 atty because as you may well know VG is so thick that I would always get a burned taste in a tank, clearo, or my Stardust. Now I like dripping, but when I am out it is a pain in the ...., and dripping and driving is dangerous.

Then I had a idea, what if I just say F it and put 4 damn holes in a carto? So i got my saddle valve and put 2 in the bottom and 2 at the top, and put the thing in my Lil Mama tank.

Let me tell you it works excellent! The 4 holes allow my thick VG to flow into my carto with no problems. I have never gotten that burned taste, and It tastes better then it did in my 306. I use a VV device and even at 5 volts I have no problems . It was so good in fact that I ordered 4 more Lil Mama tanks, and a crap-load of boge 2.8 carto's. It also does not leak or flood, with the exception of a tiny bit of flooding during refills which goes away after I vape it for about 5 min.

Also my carto's are lasting about 2 weeks (and a LOT or refills) before they go bad, which is saving me a ton of money as my 306's also lasted about 2 weeks but cost a ton more.

If you like VG or other thick liquid that has been giving you problems in a tank then I highly suggest trying 4 holes, it really is a game changer.

thanks for the advise, I will try this out. Ive been going nuts. I bought a beautiful phiniac tank, was so excited. Its been a nightmare trying to get it flowing. I tried punching, then tried slotting. Then I added a vertical slot on side on top of slots and it flooded. So then I added extra slots , its better but still occasionally going dry. On the the next trick and see if this works.

iI just ordered a bunch of new juice, and a carto punch and more cartos. Im not giving up. I was in a bad way for nice and vaping and said F it and decided to thin my juice up. I used a few ml of plain vodka, ( dont know if this a good thing, but I heard people doing this with everclear. It has helped a lot. I also know now that I slotted my cartos to low and that was a big part of the problem. I still think there were some duds in my order of cartos as even with the 80/20 juice (pg being the larger part) I was getting drying and burning on the boges. So duds , combined with thick juice and my bad slot jobs. Im not giving up. THough its frustrating the good and enjoyable out weigh the user errors.

I'm almost exclusively a carto tank vapor. I vape either 3.7 or 5 volts. Generally use the Smoktech dual coils, but recently have been trying Boge's cartos, too. I've found that cartos that are prepunched with 2 or 3 holes work ok with 3.7 volts, but if using 5 volts it seems I need more effecient juice delivery with either larger holes or more holes. I recently got a Siam Mods carto punch and have been punching my own.

With the Boge's, I double punch at the bottom of the carto. With the dual coil, I punch two at the bottom and one in the middle (so the upper coil gets juice too). I pre-fill my cartos so the polyfill is slushy, then add the carto to the tank for filling. I use the Siam Mod tank filler tool (makes it so much easier). So far these methods are working for me. I've never had issues with either flooding or dry hits.

I do believe some of my success belongs to using sturdy, well built tanks. I mostly use the new Smoktech Pro (version 2?) tanks (the frosty polypropylene version). Prior to these, I had a couple of the polycarbonate versions, both of which leaked within a months time. I recently got 2 pyrex grommet tanks from Valley View Vapes for dirt cheap, and aside from being a slight pain to fill, have worked wonderfully.

I also got the tiple v pyrex , 2 of them in today, great tank, I love it. I had problems with the reg smoke tech slipping , leaking etc. How do you top off your triple v? I havent had to add juice yet, but if you can let me know the best way to add more juice to the triple v, Id appreciate it. I dont want to waste any more precious juice.
