How about doing a game of what the family faces on V4L forum you think would sound like.
example, soft,rough,whinning,etc
Rate the voice with the face, are if no face then rate replys to a post they had reply too. Lets have fun with this.

I think Rappel has a low, slow drawl, kind of voice. It only becomes high pitched when she is screaming as she is falling after slipping on the rocks she is climbing on.
