Cbabbman sir as I said we all have a breaking point..... Where you were coming from was misinterpreted by some... It happens....

As I said, there are a lot of individuals here.... Just something to take into account.... This is a very active forum (sometimes I think it's the most active on ecf)... We are like a family, and just like a family, sometimes things get taken the wrong way and can start a feud... It happens....

Anything that would help us all support V4L and understand the what's and why's of our end of patiently waiting for our delicious packages to arrive...

A couple of things first... I say what I feel, when I feel the need to say it. I don't care if people like what I say or not.

Now, if anybody wants to get on board with either of these statements....have at it. As always, I stand by what I've said and have no intentions of giving it any further time.

Eleanor my family is just fine...and so am I, thank you for your concern.

Snowdragon's Honey Nut Chicken

3-Pack of Chicken Half Breasts
Honey Nut Cereal (Any brand)
Mayonaise
Tarragon
Lemon Pepper
Marsala or White Wine

Oven Temp: 395 Degrees
Cook Time: 50 minutes
Rack Position: Center

9 x 13 Pyrex Oblong (Rectangular) Baking Dish or equal sized Metal Baking Dish

This is a fun dish to make with a cooking partner (help with the seasoning and spooning the mayo) or with the kids (crush up the cereal)

Rinse the chicken half-breasts, pat them dry and set them aside. Then pour 1/3 of a cereal box of Honey Nut Flakes into a bowl and crush them up with your hands. I generally crush them down until they are the size of oat flakes.

Take a half breast and thoroughly rub in a thin coating of Mayo, then season the top of the breast with Lemon Pepper followed by a light seasoning with Tarragon. While holding the half breast over the bowl of crushed cereal with one hand, use the other hand to thoroughly coat the top of the breast with the crushed cereal and place into the baking dish.

After all 3 half breasts have been placed into the Pyrex Baking Dish or Rectangular Baking Pan, line the bottom of the pan with thin layer of either Marsala or White Wine. I generally put my thumb over the top of the bottle to control how much goes into the pan and to keep it from splashing up on the half-breasts.

Best served with rice and salad or vegetable side dish.

Enjoy!

Almost forgot....no marsala or white wine...no problem...just use a broiler pan instead. :thumb:

I was thinkin the same thing about dinner tomorrow Morandir Dear....

Snow....I would NEVER have thought of Honey Nut Cereal!...and I can only imagine how good it is in the rice....I love sweet almonds in my rice anyway....oh...*sigh*...now I can't wait for dinner tomorrow night......the only thing I think I am missing is the tarragon....do you use fresh?

My dad uses corn flakes to fry his fish....I like special k...it adds a tad bit of sweetness to it, but I would never have thought of that either had my dad not used corn flakes...I am just not creative in the kitchen....too much thinkin in the box there.

I remember those...I got my dad a grill set and my brother still has my keyring with a bottle opener on it....

Doral did the tops thing...collect the logo from the package top and send in so many for a free carton...

Yes, I used to look through trash cans to collect those things! Don't ask! Lol! I got a flashlight, sleeping bag, and BBQ tools!

I believe I qualified this by my first statement "Can you guys describe what you go through business wise (without giving away any secrets)...

I live an hour away.... from a distribution point, as I was informed.

I ask these questions out of curiosity, not malice. I find your response to be far more 'over the top' than my basic questions about a business that I didn't know existed a month ago.

I don't know what V4L goes through or has to deal with in looking for products, ordering or issues with suppliers. I'm simply curious and I see more than enough posts of people asking when a specific product will be available to want to ask the questions as to why some products seem difficult to get and what they go through to get them.

Please don't jump on my ... for asking more about a company I like and spend a good buck with or for asking for a perspective that I do not have.

I am still fairly new here (about a month), and like cbabbman, had not heard of V4L, or really any of the e cig companies on this messageboard. When I initially read his query, I did not sense any malice. This is a messageboard where e cigs consumers come on here to discuss e cigs, and specifically about V4L.

I do think V4L is a great company, with fantastic customer service, and I can not compare them to any other e cig company because I have not purchased from anyone else.

I do have to say that on my first order, my PCC was defective, then also in my very second order my bat stopped working. V4L was quick to take care of me and send me out new products. Today, I received my third order, which was all juice and carts. Although, I am and will continue to be a loyal customer, I do wonder if my bat in my fourth order will be defective as well. I wonder if all e cig companies have these issues. I understand, these products are mass-produced, but I do wonder what kind of Quality Assurance testing is going on. As I said, I am totally new to the e cig industry, so maybe this is a normal thing. I do wonder these same type of things with other consumer products that we own. Like why do all my Kenmore refrigerator ice machines break down so easily? I suppose with any mass produced item, there will always be problems.

Now the question with products not being available, I am also curious as why this is. As consumers we do have the right to be curious about this.

I also see that there is a sense of family closeness with many of the members here, which is great and with so many members here with different perspectives and opinions, it is natural that sometimes there is a likelihood that someone will get offended.

As far, as having an opinion and saying what is on one's mind, whether tacky or not, I feel to each their own. You can be offended and that's ok. If you want to say what is on your mind, without censor, you should expect that you will offend someone, but that's ok to.

I'm going to stop here for the moment because my thumb is getting tired from typing on my iPhone. Lol!

Oh, one more thing, since I am a reference librarian, I do have access to many business databases that the public is not privy to. This convo has made me curious. I think I will have do some research on them. Only because I have a natural inclination to conduct research, as a librarian.

Ok, now my thumb is starting to hurt!

Susden, you've never heard of Aqua Teen Hunger Force?

Your welcome Flowerlady, let me know how it turns out for you. :) I just kinda stumbled on it one day when I was having one of those creative kitchen moments.

Nope, never heard of it, but I will search on YouTube. I am either too young or too old! Lol!

Breaker One Nine,

I have found that what you normally buy in the store, from chicken to tomato sauce, is bland and tasteless since it all went GMO. To get the rich full flavor intended with normal natural food you need to buy organic!!

GMO was giving me hives (DPU), and my mom starting getting them too, doctors said it was GMO, if they don't effect you immediately they will in 20 years. PLEASE be informed, google Monsanto, GMO, etc and demand organic food in your grocery store. t/y - back to your regularly schedueled programming ...
