How am I killing attys so fast

I realize I'm using a silver bullet at 6v, and that might be an important factor, but I figure they should last longer than a day. What could be contributing to their early deaths? This has happened consistantly... would they last longer if I toned it down to 3.7 volts? How would that affect battery life/ vapor production? Thanks

I've been blowing 901's 4 this week on a BB with a 5 volt PT any Ideas? no problems with my 510's though the usb ac adapter is adjustable and I've vaped 510's at 6.5v 2a with no problem but bad taste so keep it at 5v. I get a much stronger hit using this adjustable enercell adapter from radio shack at 5v 2a than the dual adapter we see on the posts>

901 are notorious for popping at HV... your best to stick with the 510 and even 801s fair better than the 901. That is just my experience and I am not trying to say that it can't be done with a 901 .. but I'm just sayin!!!

Ive been using 510 attys, and sometimes I seem keep them too wet (I drip, no filler in the cartridge). I blow out the bad tasting liquid when I first open a new one, drop some juice in, blow it out again, then drop in a few and bein vaping. I just ordered a usb passthru for when Im at home, but I still prefer the flavor/ vapor production/ throat hit of the SB at 6v. So im confused, I should or shouldn't get the HV attys from eastmall? Or should I buy an adapter for an 801?
