Yes, I am fully aware of the conductivity of various metals and where copper sits in that comparison, (that's why I bought the Stingray X)and a fully understand the beauty of finely polished copper, but how can anyone stand to use anything that turns their hand green in 5 minutes and makes it smell like pennies?

I want a second Mech, but I'll be danged if I want to smell like a penny jar.

in this case for me the perks of good conductivity outweighs the penny smell/green hands. buy hey, thats just me since i prefer using mods that hit hard opposed to SS mods with frustratingly high voltage drop

I only buy copper mods right now. They don't turn my hands green. Copper hits way harder. My daily for the past week was the BCV XIXX which is 101 copper.
bit off topic but what are your thoughts on the xxix in terms of how it performs. thinking of getting one but i need some one to sell (not literally) one to me

It's a hard hitting mod. One of my favorites. They now come with magnets in the button whereas I had to upgrade mine. Polishing isn't fun, but overall it's a great design. The hybrid top cap means there's one less part to keep clean. I really like the fact it's a single tube to reduce voltage drop.

The biggest flaw I can find with it is that the button has a tendency to spin with prolonged use. The engraving on the tube isn't the deepest either. On mine one of the Xs shows wear from excessive polishing. This mod also has no lock ring. The button is recessed though. If that's not enough for you, you can undo the entire switch a little so it doesn't fire.

Chinese clones usually use a lower grade of copper from I've heard That said I have a authentic copper BFM from BCV that does not turn my hand green or smell like pennies even vaping it hours on end..

That's nice for you, but I have a particular affinity for dissolving metals. I "pit" even the finest gold. About the only jewelery I can wear is platinum.

Tbh i only use SS, the conductivity issue is negligible.
Negligible to you maybe but not to me..
For instance I have two 26650 mods..one is copper and one is SS..With fully charged 4.2v batteries in both, and running the same .15 ohm builds, the SS mod had a voltage drop of over 2.5 v firing the coils. The copper mod only had a drop of .7 volts firing the same coils. My copper mod consistently hits harder than any SS mod I've tried to date. And for me I want the best vape for my buck..lol

I read this a few times, it doesn't say that you've actually used/owned a copper body mod just that you're wondering HOW someone could? Personally I've never experienced the penny hand smell OR the green hands and I own three copper body mods that get used every day.

Stingray X is a good choice though, I love mine! It's the only SS body mod I currently use since it's lined with solid copper.

Sorry, I should have stated I borrowed a buddy's copper green hand machine for 2 days, before I had any, ... which was one of the things leading to me buying the copper interior Stingray X.

Same as with copper - there's stainless and then there's stainless.
