I am absolutely in love with this Provari. I already have a white one and would love to turn mine into the stealth version. Is it possible?

I do not care much for the tank, but i want a murdered out provari. The only reason I purchased a white one was because that was the only color my local B&M had in stock.

Would it be possible to DIY the paint job myself? I know nothing about paint so if anyone with knowledge chimes in, I would be very appreciative.

Thanks for replies.

your not going to without spending more then that one is worth, to do it one off will be very expensive, and then making the blacked out window and button. this is a special edition made by provape for this website and it is doable but to just do one will not be cheap.

Unique triple-coated matte black finish
Black triple-coated end caps
Custom darkened window deepens a blue LED display by 50%
Custom black firing button will not emit light

in the end it would probably be cheaper to sell yours and buy that one.

Or....

Give it a fine sanding
Spray with 2 light coats of paint primer
Spray with 3 very light coats of matte charcoal black spraypaint
Spray with matte top coat

Enjoy. But if you're going to all that trouble to paint it you may as well add some sort of design with masking tape and another color or something, or even do a matte black base with a glossy black design sprayed on to it.

Granted the powder coating is more durable. But assuming you're not playing street hockey or storing it with your toolbox or in your spare change jar it should be fine and cost about 10-15 bucks all together.

I just received the used v2.0 Stealth listed on vaporforce. I bought it for my Army son. The owner, Tim, is the absolute, ultimate, BOMB. He really cares about troops and first responders! I can't afford a back-up for me yet, but when I can, I'll be trolling his page listing used PVs. (He has a v2.0 full-size in blue w/ blue LED for $140 now.) The used Stealth is perfect to my eyes even though he said it has some minor scratches, and I can't wait to get my kid on it!!! It really is a gorgeous unit... :D

Tactical sickness.
Not tactical without a rail :p

That is just "tacticool" gear queer idiocracy

oh and to answer the OP's question

Get one of these
http://www.vapingxtreme.com/vMax-Mod-Battery-Blue-LED-Kit.html

Figure out how to disassemble the head, then get after the shiny body with some 400 grit sandpaper till its rough to the touch (and have something for the paint to bind with)...then hit it with some flat black "camo" spraypaint from wallyworld (duracoat if you want it to be a bit more resilient), reassemble...then Vape On!!!

That should do you
