Ok so i am interested in knowing if its possible to make my Black Provari ( newest version ) have that satin/raw stainless look and finish? Like the Z-Max, Natural, etc for instance.

I am not sure what the finish exactly is called but if i am not mistaken the Provari is made of stainless. If i were to attach the provari tube to my drill ( so that i get a even spin ) and run a fine git sand paper on it, will i achieve that smooth/satin/raw stainless look? or will i get a nasty, grey colored steel look?

Usually with all my devices/drip tips/tanks/etc they are usually a polished SS ( look like chrome ) I run them in my drill and lightly run sand paper across them and get a nice raw/satin/smooth SS look and feel and i am just wondering would i get the same result with the provari?

I seen a few photos out there but not much detail.

Any advice or help would be great, thanks!

Any reason you didn't purchase the satin silver to begin with?

Well i am not looking for a painted silver or a silver look. I am actually trying to get a satin/brushed stainless look. If your familiar with the Zmax or Natural, that is the look i am going for ( which they dont offer )

They are coming out with a "polished" stainless but that has more of a chrome look to it.

Provaris are not painted Silver they are media blasted Satin finished Stainless Steel....
You could wait for a Polished Provari and then bring the Mirror finsh down to a brushed finish...

Agreed... The polished stainless brushed would look awesome with all of the machined areas (logo, teardrops, rings) still shiny would be awesome. You might send "Kiba" a pm; he did exactly that on his black mini and his wife's pink mini. Looked great but would look even better on a polished.

I stand corrected. The satins are indeed bare metal. the rest are powder coated.

I'm sorry. This is not correct. Provaris, including the satin silver, are powder coated.

I have been with Provape since their inception.. Owned 2 Provape1's and 5 Provaris.....

You don't know what you are talking about dude.....Satin Silver Provaris are Stainless Steel that is media blasted to a Satin finish...Colored Provaris are a durable ceramic finish.....
Get your facts straight before you speak on the issue!

I edited my post to correct the record. A little tact goes a long way.

I didn't mean to jump down your throat but other post have claimed the Silver was a painted finish...
Here are the facts directly from Provape:

Hello Derek,

The satin silver ProVari is raw, stainless steel that has been sand blasted and is not coated.

The polished ProVaris are still being worked on. We are not happy with the finish at this time. I do not know when we will start production on the polished. If you friend us on Facebook, you will get an advance notification of their release.

Please let me know if you have any questions :~)
Kindly,
Kim

We're good. I had been given bad info and never contacted ProVape to get it "from the horses mouth", so to speak. I received that same email about the same time you did.
BTW, I only have 2 regulated devices. Both ProVari Mini's, satin silver, 1 red led, 1 blue.
Currently building 2 DNA20 devices but these ProVari's aren't going anywhere.
