I thought it was my atomizers at first, but I noticed my device/atty never did this until I got a drip tip... it seems to happen at random... I'll take a drag and get some really hot spray from the atty in my mouth, it's really unpleasant. Is there ANY way to make this stop happening? I am not over-filling, I've definitely found the sweet spot when it comes to dripping... no floodage. Sometimes even when the atty is going dry it'll spit.. I'm assuming it's just because there's not a barrier to catch the "hot spit" when it happens, like if I were to be using a blank cart just as a mouth piece. Help!!!

Nope, just drip on top of it and give it a second. remember this is the very tiniest bit just enough to stop it from hitting that hot spot were it spits out and hit's your tongue. I actually even cut the width in half. I do the same when dripping onto a cartomizer.
Are you blowing gently into the tip before dripping? If not and there is vapor sitting in the tip, the new drops can't funnel down and it ends up in your mouth. I blow gently into the tip before I drip and after so rarely have a problem. It sounds like a pita but once you are used to it, not a problem and takes a nanosecond to do.
I lightly blow into the tip after I drip and that also helps to eliminate liquid back splash.
Yes ma'am, I blow before and after just to make sure. Sometimes if I give it a gentle blow after, though, all of the juice will run out of the atomizer and flood the "canyon" in my chuck. Even if the atty is completely dry and I only add 1 drop... drip tips are strange.
Also, Brad... is there any risk of sucking the fluval into your mouth while taking a drag? How tiny does it need to be? Just the circumference of the hole? Smaller maybe? Should it be a snug fit or a loose fit?
It's a loose fit but it has never even come close to coming up the drip tip at all.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Brad- just tried the fluval fix and it's working great! I decided to put the fluval in through the atty end about 1/4 of the way up. Seems to have improved the juice getting to the wick a little.
I know!! I was just telling my brother in law the same thing, today. .... plug this and condom that .. I was so excited when I got a REAL KR808D-1 with the .... plug caps ... What I thought I had been buying wasn't really KR808D-1 and I could never explain why my caps didn't have the stinger things ..... I felt SO left out

Weird, I'm using LR's only. Didn't have this problem with regular atomizers now that I think about it. What causes LR's to do this as opposed to regular atomizers?? Any insight?Bert said:
I'm not sure, but I'm experiencing something similar with my cartos. I've had 2 in a row just pop, and spray ejuice out of them. Not exactly a pleasant vaping experience. I understand putting something in the way to stop it, but does anyone know why this happens? Not all of my attys/cartos do this...
