How can I start a thread in other forums?

I read the rules and I think that is a genius way to keep spambots from spamming (as I own a few forums myself and may use this same anti-spam measure) however, I didnt read where or what I must do to get access to create new threads in other areas...

What must I do?

You need 13-15 posts before being able to start a thread outside of the new users forum.

Hmm, the FAQ said 10. I am also frustrated as I have a reiew ready to post. Funny enough but this rule is going to make for more spam responses in order to get to the post count required!

You must go to the super secret section of the forum and get permission from the grand-poohbah and then go outside turn around 3 times and spit.

you will then be good to go.........

I have spit up a storm (and logged out and back in) and....I still cannot post in the review section.....

I got it to work. Besides logging out, I also closed and then re-opened my browser and then logged back in. That worked!
