Over the years I've tried to analyze my smoking habit. Grew up in a household of smokers and I was smoking by age 15. Everyone chain smoked. It seemed the normal thing to do. It's partly for stimulation, yet we light one up after a stressful moment to calm us down. It's both a psychological and physical addiction. From first thing in the morning, all day long, to last smoke at night before bed.
Ecigs have replaced the habit for the most part. I keep telling myelf it's for the betterment of my health, and it is for sure because the coughing has stopped. I'm weak and don't have the willpower to give up analogs completely and not sure why I continue to buy them, just to have them near by. I like the feel of a cigarette between my fingers. I like the smell of a fresh unlit cigarette. I've always liked smokng (as awful as that sounds, ugh!)
I can't give up coffee either. Drinking coffee and smoking (and now vaping) goes hand in hand.
vaping WTAs seems to be helping me to NOT chain vape as much, but it's not enough to stop. Maybe I need more WTAs in my juice. I don't know what the answer is, if there is one.

Your past sounds somewhat like mine with the smokers at home and I started at 15 too. Have you ever considered trying Swedish snus? I use snus, wta and regular liquids. I used to use nasal snuff too but have cut that out for a while now.

Never tried snus. I've read about it on this forum, but in fact, I don't recall knowing anyone who uses it. Is it like the chewing tobacco that I see people put in their mouth and chew, spit, chew, spit etc.?
I don't think I want to try it, but thanks for mentioning it :)

There is snuff and it works. Just a light inhale in your nose and it does the rest..plus are not chewing anything. Only issue is people give you weird looks when using it.

Sorry that I've been away from the forum for awhile but I've been incredibly busy lately, however I've been continuing to love vaping Aroma mixed in with my collection of regular juice and I definitely found the holy grail back when I found this juice. As far as using it to quit smoking, well I tried everything over the years including struggling with regular nic juice and while I was able to quit on that for the first month it wasn't what I was looking for at all and I strongly believe that I would have not been successful quitting if not for WTA. Ever since I vaped my first tank of WTA it has been not only a substitute for smoking it's been a significant improvement over smoking.

Having said that though the trick in quitting is always to look ahead to the future benefits, although for me that needs to include feeling better and not just doing it to live longer or even to breathe better. So when I quit it was always on a trial basis and if it didn't work I was going to go back to smoking. Honestly with the regular juice it didn't work, and I felt way too keyed up on the stuff and not satisfied. WTA was the answer to all of these problems.

In fact I remember how awful I felt smoking in comparison and the only reason why I smoked all of those years is that I didn't have a viable alternative, and quitting certainly wasn't one of them. So personally I can't imagine needing anything else, in the long run, although we always need to remember that this necessarily doesn't mean that the transition is going to be an immediate one. You smoked all those years and there's a lot of crap in them that even WTA doesn't replace, although these aren't things we want to be taking into our bodies in the first place. In the immediate present, while you're trying to quit, you do need to detoxify from this stuff, and detox is never something that you feel better with while it is taking place.

So I'd suggest that people who are struggling at least commit to this detox and once it has taken place, for a couple of weeks anyway, then and only then will they be in a position to make an accurate decision about how much if at all they want to be smoking. I thought about snuff prior to finding WTA and if you really need that to make the transition it's probably a good idea, although it won't substitute for the detox and you need to get through that first. It can be painful for some people but once you've gotten over that you may indeed find that a new day has dawned upon your life and you will never want to go back to the poison you once held so dear. Best of luck!

Sorry. I just saw your reply. It is tobacco and can be purchased in loose form or in small pouches called portions. The best is Swedish made. It is over 90% safer than smoking. Sweden has the highest number of users and the lowest cancer rate.
