Most delivery devices that are considered MTL won't have the air flow necessary to use a non restricted DTL.
I can & do DTL with some MTL delivery devices, but it isn't a easy, wide open, free inhale like you'd get using a delivery device with huge air flow.
ah ok thanks, so you can but isnt as easy so its probs best not to

After you've been vaping for a lil bit, you'll find that it's cheaper to make your own juice.
We got tired of spending more in juice than we did on cigs. I've been making juice for almost three years. Find a flavor you can vape all day. Then find the recipe in the DIY section. I can make 16ozs of juice cheaper than a pack of smokes.

Just an option if you wanna save money and have plenty of juice to blow clouds with :)

Replacement heads are a single replaceable unit containing coil(s) & wicking material ready to prime install & vape.
Factory made, buy from vape shop or online retailer.

RBA = re buildable atomizer, you wrap coils install them on build deck, test resistance, ensure they glow correctly & install wicking material, assemble, fill tank, vape.

Hi Josh
Well you've heard from all the tootle puffers how you want to increase your resistance and lower your power setting.

Now a message from the other side;

You bought an atty called the Baby Beast being a smaller version of the Cloud Beast and they don't call it that for no reason. Come on now be honest with yourself you love those big clouds, right? Are you going to be happy with a device that is hard to draw from and leaves you wondering if you got any vapor at all? Come on and admit you are a cloud fiend.

Seriously that atty does use up a lot of juice but not as bad as its big brother and what folks are saying about lower power/higher resistance using less juice is absolutely true. However there is a big difference between MTL and DTL and if you are like many of us MTL just dosen't cut it. The air draw is simply too restrictive and the vapor too little to satisfy. There are however many very good atty's on the market that don't use juice as quickly as the BB does and still give very good DTL clouds.

You can purchase an RBA for the BB and make your own coils to just about any resistance you prefer. Much cheaper than the pre-made coils anyway.

The other route is making your own juice as Kprthevapor suggests. I've switched to DIY and not only do I like my juices a lot better than anything I can buy the cost of store bought premium juice runs anywhere from $0.40 to $1.00 per ml compared to about $0.04 per ml for DIY. At that price who cares how much one uses.:headbang:

ok thanks that helps a fair bit, ill probably start with the DIY ejuice soon as it would save me heaps obviously! would using an RBA with the BB reduce the amount of juice being used?

Probably not by much.
Of course if you were to build 2 2.0Ω coils net result 1.0Ω it would use less.
You bought a popular but horribly inefficient delivery device, to make it function like it was designed to, huge bro cloudz, it is going to consume large amounts of e liquid.
It takes vaporizing large amounts of e liquid to produce large cloudz.

It looks like the max ohm pre-built coils are 0.6 ohm rated between 20 and 50w.

By the way i MTL on a TFV8 Could Beast around 150w and use 6ml in an evening. If i used it all day i'd get through between 10 and 15ml a day i reckon. That's using a pre-built 0.15 ohm coil.

I use store bought juice and DIY juice but will be only using DIY juice when my store bought juice runs out.

I haven't dabbled in building my own coils yet with it but i'm going to. I tried a while back on my Subtank Mini but had loads of leaking issues because i'm rubbish at wicking :)

If you can wrap a wire around a drill bit, you can make your own coils. It really is just about that simple. Also, don't beat yourself up about the wicking. If you had leaking, it's because you didn't have a good seal on the tank. Get a good seal and how you wick it won't matter. How you wick only matters if your tank is not functioning properly.

I've had a look at some simple examples for the TFV8 RBA and it looks pretty straight forward. God knows why i had so many issues with the Subtank Mini but it was quite a while ago. I'll have another go soon i think
