I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PEOPLE!!!

HOW COULD YOU LET ME WASTE MY MONEY ON A 510 WHEN A GORGEOUS eGo WAS OUT THERE JUST BEGGING ME TO PUFF ON IT....

FORGET COMPLAINING THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ME 6 WEEKS AGO, THAT WON'T CUT THE MUSTARD!! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING AND CONTACTED ME AHEAD OF TIME!!!

YOU INCONSIDERATE BUGGERS!!! HERE I WAS, PUFFING AWAY TO TRY TO GET A HINT OF MY WATERMELON ejuice AND THE eGo JUST BLASTS IT INTO YOUR MOUTH, NO QUESTION IT WAS THERE... ITS LIKE A FRIGGIN WATERMELON HAD AN M80 IN IT AND IT BLEW UP IN MY MOUTH!! IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Seriously though...

Just got the eGo from EVapers.com... gotta say, WOW, what service... i got the classic (with the 510 atty) and it was only supposed to come with one atty cone, i got two... it wasn't supposed to come with a plastic drip tip, he added it!! it wasn't supposed to come until tomorrow, they used their magic powers to make CanadaPost work overtime and get it here today (who's ever heard of CP being on time, let alone early!!!)

gotta shout out to the peeps at Evapers... quality service and proof you still can get a "baker's dozen" from reputable vendors...

BRAVO!!!

HOW COULD YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN EGO WHEN THERE IS A PROVARI OUT THERE? haha, there is always something better, but the 510 is a good place to start for a small device. I am surprised that people would suggest a 510 over the go tho, depending on what you asked for tho.

I think the eGo is a tremendous jump from the 510 in vaping satisfaction. Yes the ProVari is great. I use a V.V. mod yet I stilll go back to the eGo.

I'm sorry to hear that you were recommended a 510. The eGo is WAY better and for the minimal difference in investment... no comparison. This could easily been a miss-understanding too, as the eGo 510 may have been the mix up. eGo has better battery life, better TH, and better quality.

Either way, you are now vaping, and realize the benefits. Grats!

I too had read on this forum that the 510 was what I should start off with even the noob videos say to start off with the 510....like a fool I bought one.

While I did cut down to 2 analogs a day from 30 the constant charging of batteries I wasn't too happy with. Needless to say I hooked up with Happy Jack from HappyVaper.com, bought the eGO and have now been analog free for 10 days after having smoked for 21 years.

Only good thing about the 510 is that I am going to give it to my father - he's been smoking since he was 8 - will it work for him? Only time will tell.:D

Wow you guys knocking the 510 like that!!! In fact I adore my 510!!!! My first ecig setup and over 2 weeks as a new vapor I love love love it! I don't have to hide it in front of my family, they think it's a pen in my mouth, and I stealth vape and no one knows! I get awesome throat hit, spectacular vape, sure the batt life is crapier, but that is why you get the pcc charger, usb passthrough, wall charger and extra batts. Don't knock the 510 guys!! hahahaha just kiddin'..To each their own!

I'm sure Danesnpits that you luv ur 510. But I'm sure if you try an eGo, u would be very impressed. Same 510 carts can be used. Just a stronger battery. And the best part is u can use Mega Attys and Mega Carts. It would cut down on the amount of time spent filling those tiny carts.

There's nothing wrong with a/the 510. 2010 saw leaps and bounds in ecig development and God only knows what 2011 has in store for us. If the industries growth follows in last years footsteps, the Provari will be recommended as a "starting" device

No seriously! For those who just start out and are not sure if vaping will be for them, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 510. I still use mine on occasion. I will admit that battery life sucks. Beginning last year a mega battery was 280mAh, we are up to 1300mAh in some cases now.

Many still wanted (thought) the size, feel and look of a cigarette. They thought it is/was important in order to truly mimick the analog experience. They were relatively cheap I believe I paid $39 or $59 for my first 510 starter kit. I had paid $99 for a 2 piece kit from SafeCig. It was a good device but left me wanting. It wasn't until tail piping a 510 did I finally free myself from the clutches that restrained my addiction.

Now the entry level device is the eGo. It is still small enough to look pleasing and battery life cannot be beat. <---- in a device that size. In closing, for those that believe that a true 3.7V will perform better than the 3.2V eGo, think again. I have a 3.7V eGo and the efficiency of the PCB on a true JoyE eGo delivers a more consistent and pleasant vape when compared to its 3.7V cousin. Now a VV eGo does indeed outshine its father.

The eGo T is seeing some good reviews. Outside of the bridge design to accept a tank, it is the same 302/801 atomiser (from what I have seen) as the eGo Mega attys and carts, and hence the device performs as expected - as a 302/801.

The 510 when introduced and why it took off like a banshee had a 2.2Ohm atomiser, compared to 3-3.3Ohm for the 901 and 801. So those who made the switch, were actually vaping a low resistance atomiser in the day.

Nothing wrong with a 510 it performs and performs well for its intended use. Hype well that is another story...

I find it amusing that many folks settle in at 3.7 to 4.2 on their variable voltage devices after a while, with an atty combo that will deliver between 6-8 watts.

Then don't go drooling over the R and R manufacturing thread where they show all the yummy, exotic wood, hand made bottom feeding wonder boxes called the Ali'i (and yes I want one, in ebony/paduak with vv)

I love the 510 too but I would always recommend the ego to any real smoker trying to quit. I started with the ego kit then bought the 510 after that and now I have the ego tank, They all work well and I use them for different times. The 510 is nice to use out in public as it is not as large and does not produce alot of vaper making it easier to stelth vape.

Ok, ok, ok.... I'm not a "real" smoker (Coming from a ~5-10 a day analog habit) and therefore my 510 batteries (Manual or Auto) last pretty much the entire day...

I love the carto's and find it hard to believe that anything could convince me to move to a atom/cart combo.

Given the above, would the eGo shatter my delusions of the 510 being perfectly fine for me? I'm always down for more taste, vapor and TH... is using the eGo battery on pre-existing 510 cartos going to do anything?
