Hey guys,
You might have to give T a minute to respond to this thread, she knows it is here but she has really been pushing to get the orders out. Since typing on ECF can tend to take a little time, she has been away from it for the last couple of days in favor of creating all those orders.
As for me, I'm on the computer just about all day/night anyway, so I can take the time! I am originally a native of Huntsville, Alabama. I love it there and get back as often as I can (which is never enough). No matter where I live, I will always take great pride in the fact that I am a Southerner. I have called a few other places home; I spent a decade in Reno, NV (super awesome amazing place with so much to do and great people), Murfreesboro, TN for a couple of years (small town, but again, I LOVE the South), and now I have been in Tucson, AZ for about 7 years. There is a very interesting culture here and the weather is usually fantastic (I hate monsoon season though, I'm so OVER humidity). I love those 110 degree, 8% humidity days that we see so many of during May/June/July.
I have a bachelors degree in Linguistics with a minor in History. Ancient history, history of religion, archaeology, and linguistic anthropology are huge interests of mine. I recently sold my car (haven't gotten another one yet), but pretty much exclusively ride my Yamaha FZ6 (600cc) motorcycle and my Kymco 250cc motorscooter. I spend a fair amount of time riding the desert either by myself or with local groups. I used to actually work at a scooter shop here for awhile and loved it. I have been intrigued by computers since my first Commodore 64, and I do love me some gaming. I have been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic since beta, and do spend some late nights advancing my Jedi and my Sith (yeah, I'm a little bit of a geek that way). I have also been mixing in a smattering of Call of Duty 3, LA Noire, and the Assassin's Creed series lately.
My wife and I LOVE our dogs. We are full on, die-hard dog people. Our first was a Basset Hound named Otis. After him came our first Boston Terrier named Mojo. We got him a little friend, another Boston named Skye, who is now 13 years old. About 4 years ago after Mojo passed away, we got Wiley, our French Bulldog. He is the little guy that usually appears in my avatar here on ECF. I have never seen a dog that likes to swim as much as he does, even though he really isn't built for it. He's a great swimmer though, and diving is his specialty.
I got into e-cigs at the end of 2009. I bought one of those overly expensive, overly hyped kits from one of those companies that supplied prefilled cartos. I paid WAY too much for it and fell for the online hype. All of those great videos were there due to the affiliate program. I did not experience buyers remorse though because they did get me off cigarettes in a period of two days. After a couple of months of failed batteries, semi-dry cartos, nasty flavors, I discovered the good old 510. I was so much happier with the quality and that's when I started dripping. My first mod was from Vaprlife, a Vypr 510. I enjoyed it. I had a couple of issues, but they fixed it for me and it still works fine. I then discovered the Bartleby box mod. Outstanding device, especially for the money. Maybe not as durable as some mods, but still works great after two years! Then I ended up with some eGos, a GLV Mini, a GLV2, and I acquired my first VV device only a few days ago. I'm not naming this one yet because T got one too and had some pretty big problems with it. I, on the other hand, have had no problems with mine and I am REALLY enjoying it.
I tried TONS of different juices at first, but didn't find much to my liking until (like many of you), I discovered Ms T. I tried other stuff while I was testing hers out, but always came back. Once I emailed her because I was hating my life in Home Health Administration and needed a change. It just so happened (and was unknown to me) that she actually was looking for some help. We hit it off fast. It has now been over a year and a half. I take care of the phone, the emails, the website, the occasional forum slugfest, and lots of other things. It's amazing how many other projects can come up in the course of a week. But I guess that is the nature of small business. I try to keep T clear to do what we all want her to do, which is the mixing. I never touch or even see the juices that go out to y'all. T and I handle everything via phone/internet. Thank goodness for modern technology! I do play guinea pig quite often and try out new flavors before they hit the testing area or menu. I'm also trying to get through as many of her flavors as I can so as to be well-educated about our products. That is a long process! I'm just like everyone else. There are some I love, some that I like, and some that aren't for me.
So that's me in a nutshell - maybe a BIG nutshell, but as everyone here knows, I can't be brief about anything. That's just how I am! Language (in my opinion) is the greatest tool humanity has and I LOVE to build with it.
