A card/paper/document that states I'm legally stupid and can't be blamed for anything I've done wrong or improper?

Lots and lots of stories worldwide, not just about vaping, where all "user responsibilities" were null because it's always "someone who made/sold" the item in question is solely responsible for all damages caused. no mater how much warnings and labelling was placed on products, it is "their" fault for making me buy a "faulty product"

Old days used to be about prevention of accidents... now days it seams everyone just wants to cause the accident and point fingers to get a peice of that money pie, no matter the costs.

Having been around here in 2012 to witness some of the truly unsafe mods that were in production (non vented, etc.) sorry but for the most part I think most companies try to be responsible and most users try to use equipment properly.

The outliers cause problems, and none in either category holds the majority in THAT respect.

Since plugging in a simple wall adapter when I first started vaping, and having it explode with fire and smoke, I can't say that I would WANT to assume the blame for something like that....I mean, I was using the product correctly.

My electrician showed it wasn't my wiring or my wall outlet. It was a brand new wall adapter (joyetech) and had something wrong w/it from factory. He took it apart and showed how wires were not correct inside.

Certainly, if I had wanted to get $200 to pay the electrician I would have been w/in my rights, but it ends up being more trouble than worth ..... but had it been a local business, where people know me, and I bought the product locally, yeah, I would have asked them to pay the electrician for the damage to my outlet, wall (which was all black) etc.

Legally stupid doesn't matter anymore when there's money in stupid.

Cases in point... Remember the guy who crushed his nads in a public bathroom as they ended up between the porcelain bowl and plastic seat? Remember the guy that burned himself on a cup of black coffee at Starbucks because he didn't know it was that hot? Both successfully sued for mucho $$$. Not sure if it was Starbucks again or McDonalds on the first one.

My point? If I get in an accident while hammered.... why not sue Ford and Jack Daniels? It's their fault for making the stuff that caused me to hurt myself.

Crazy times we live in that wrecks it for the honest people as well as those that actually have a clue.

It's called a PFA or restraining order.

Someone else applies for you.

Offers no "protection"

Recently in local news, cop blew a red light and plowed into a family sedan. Officer has no "punishment" and gets off with a slap on the wrist, because the omnicon or w.e device installed in police vehicles didn't "force the light green" when the officer approached the intersection.

There was no chase, emergency, any reason for the police to be speeding 10mph over the posted limit and to blow a red light. Literaly 3 blocks away from my home.

Apple upgrades their phone software, everyone and their grandma is allowed(and won btw) to sue them for making their phone a little too slow.

Where the f### is the sence in America?

Oh, another recent wtf. Friend of a friend was in Japan or w.e on duty with the marines, got dishonorable discharged and sent home all because ANOTHER PERSON forgot to unload their gun durring lunch. Dude walked into him and bumped his shotgun and it went off into buddies foot. Buddy is discharged over it, other guy is still in service with from what I was told, no discipline.

"We the people" are f###ING ......ed, and getting stupider by the dozen. Seriously loosing faith in my own home country and I find it messed up

Oh, I dunno.

Generally if you receive a PFA or restraining order, your life can't go anywhere but up.

If you violate one, you get a warm bed in a climate controlled building, a free gym membership, all your meals catered and all the free time you need to enjoy these great amenities.

So yeah... our system rewards all the wrong individuals... and makes the rest of us pay for it.

Yeah, but as far as I know, you can't vape in the big house. Or I assume so...
