Oh my, have I ever fallen behind! Life you know...................
I'm still kickin', just barely. The good news is that the "Half Truths" article did get printed in the mid Feb. - mid March edition and the most recent article, "Perception, Prejudice and Persecution got printed in the March - April issue. It can be seen here: http: //

It's nice to see that the graphs made it into the on line edition, something that didn't happen in print and (I feel) would have helped drive the points home. I also requested that they remove my typo on (CO2) as that is the symbol for carbon DI oxide, not Monoxide but they seem to have missed that altogether. At least it got printed in both formats and that's a win in my book.
My latest submission is titled "Shhhhhh" and is based on the two most recent articles brought to my attention by our very own Les Leung,
@Lessifer . His tireless efforts through ChangedotOrg are to be applauded. Consider this my personal standing "O", Les!!! Those U of B articles provided some excellent fodder, blasting holes in the local health org's claims and hopefully shamed them at least a bit.
Now on to a bit of confusion on my part. On 3/14 I got an email from Regulatory Watch in regard to Sen. Ron Johnson and Rep. Duncan Hunter's new "Repeal and Replace" bill of the FDA Deeming Regulations.
( Link:
Trump Card | FDA Deeming Regs On Chopping Block | RegulatorWatch.com ) Needless to say I was thrilled to hear this news and contacted both Sen. Johnson and Rep. Hunter immediately to thank and encourage them. Then on March 26th. I received an invitation to participate in the EVC phone conference regarding that Repeal and Replace bill. I was out of town enjoying my one and only snowmobiling outing this season and didn't get back until Tuesday so I missed that. Then, yesterday I got an email from CASAA encouraging me to support the new Cole Bishop amendment, which of course I did! Then I saw it again here when I signed in today. My confusion is; What the heck is going on? I "thought" that the EVC was created to join all of the different vaping advocacy groups together so that we could all "row in the same direction". I also get it that one doesn't want to put all of their eggs in one basket, so to speak and I suspect I have answered my own question with this catch phrase but just to be absolutely clear, would someone please confirm this. Personally, I feel that a UNIFIED approach is best but that's just MHO. Nothing wrong with using more than one approach. However, it does send a bit of a mixed message when different approaches are coming from different organizations, as if one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. It all comes back to my "battle cry"...............

P.S. - Consistently calling the ANTZ out does seem to be working, at least here. The TV commercials are GONE, the print ads are getting tamer and tamer and the surreptitious "concerned citizen" (health org employees) articles are disappearing. I'll be back to post a link to "Shhhhhh" mid month. My best to all. Keep up the good fight!
