how do I get rid of bad taste from new EgoT atomizer???

I hope there is another way to get rid of the bad taste from the coating the manufacturer puts on new egoT atomizers besides vaping it off by mouth...Any Ideas? The hot water soak does not get rid of it.

Hello. After the soak, did you blow thru the atty to remove water, etc? It has always worked for me. How many tank fulls have you put thru it? Any? or have you just taken a couple of drags? Sometimes it takes a tank or so for it to completely disappear. Depends on how strong your juice is.

Is that coating water sluble? Should I try baking soda vinegar? I don't want to ruin the new one before I even use it..

First thing I do with a new atty is blow it out really well into a tissue or something to get the oil, coating, primer, whatever it is out....I dont soak mine at all. You should blow thru the mouthpiece end several times, hard, until you can't see any more liquid coming out onto the tissue....then I just wipe it off, and use it....
