Some flavour are there to stay in coils and will never go. If it isn't gone after a half to full tank the chances are high its there to stay. Whoah, once tried TFA skittles and hated it. Stayed put and had to change to a new coil.

I tried one tobacco flavor once in an RDA, left it in there about a week, and kept trying to like it but couldn't. It was so strong that changing the coil wasn't enough. I had to wash with soap and water about 4 or 5 times to get the smell out.

it's no problem to take a coil out and wash it with hot water. only downside = it takes a while to dry.

You could try soaking the coil in alcohol and letting it dry. Not rubbing alcohol but vodka or everclear. It may or may not help, depending on how intense the flavor is, but it sounds as if "vaping through it" is not working out well for you.

Everclear works quite well and have used this technique to save ST coils that had not been used very much. It will actually even clean off some of the charred bits as well. I Soak them in everclear for a few hours and then just rinse well with hot water. Allow to dry overnight and they really are nearly as good as new.

I recently bought some new eliquid and I hated it. I filled my tank, tried it, gagged and dumped it out. But there’s still some of the horrible juice on my coils! How do I get rid of this excess juice ( I already refilled it with an e liquid I like) please help the taste is disgusting
I DIY, so I frequently change juice in my RDA. Could keep an RDA on hand to test juices only, they can be inexpensive.

I have never had the experience of soaking burnt coils until they were "as good as new." I'm sorry, I just haven't I might get a few more days out of them, but I halted the practice because I was tired of my coils dying unexpectedly.

And if they were as good as new, that would probably mean dissecting one and taking a look at the cotton, etc., and having it be totally white. IDK if you did that, but I do have some skepticism for the "good as new claims." IDK maybe your coils do it, but mine sure didn't.

My coils are not burnt at all, sorry for the misconception. It’s an ejuice that tastes incredibly bad that I can’t get rid of the taste even tho I’ve refilled my tank with completely different juice and have been vaping it for nearly a day.

I’m afraid it’s a sometimes you can save the coiland sometimes you can’t situation. It depends entirely on exactly what the juice of evil is made out of. There are a few mild solvents you can try, possibly in series, but there just aren’t any guarantees.

Yes things got rather derailed. Sorry. It is correct that simply replacing your coil is not enough. Disassemble your tank and wash it thoroughly with Dawn. Depending on how strong the juice tast is, and if it got into your O rings, you may need to soak THOSE in some alcohol, and/or replace them. Sorry.

You can TRY taking the old coil and rehabilitating it by soaking it for like 24 hours in some everclear, rinsing it with water, then letting it dry, although my instinct is to just tell you to throw that coil away. Honestly. If you find that juice THAT distasteful, well, my guess is even a hint of it left in the coil will suck for you and it's not worth wasting new tanks of juice on that one coil. Just get rid of it.

Ive never had any luck “vaping through” a flavor. Can really piss me off when I try a new flavor that turns out to be **it and I’ve got to throw a coil away. Especially since I use those giant expensive Freemax triple mesh pros!
Vaping through would be a titration. (1/10th, 1/10thy of that, etc..). You might need to do it several times. It depends a lot on how taste sensitive you are. Very much a YMMV thing.

Me vaping through works fine for. I put hot sauce on my eggs though.
