Ok, good to know. What if I add a higher unflavored nic AND flavor concentrate? For example, if the caramel ejuice @ 18 mg is too weak and I add 36 mg unflavored ejuice + caramel concentrate, that should give me the TH plus keep the flavor, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Next time I order I will order in higher nic level but I don't want to waste the 18 mg that I already have. I want to fiddle with it until I get it right. Screwing up is the best learning experience.

theoretically that would work.. just keep a close eye on your calculations or you might end up vaping something that is way too high in nicotine. Plus your caramel flavoring might not be what you want to combine with your already flavored juice. I've not had much success with caramel flavoring but others seem to. And yes, experimenting is the best way to learn!

Thank you. I want to keep fiddling with it until I get it right but I think I'll only use 1/2 of it and add some apple to the of half of the caramel. That way I can't OD on the nic.

Also be careful that you don't end up with a juice that is mostly flavoring. I've read where some use as high as 30%.. I try to stay below 20%. Stay on top of your calculations.

Juices with too much flavoring are nasty. I ordered from one supplier and two out of 5 had to be diluted because the flavor concentration was way too high.

A lot of that depends on your gear - if you're rocking an eGo tank, loss of flavor is a very common complaint so overflavoring the juice would be a benefit to those particular customers. Although I have no issue with the flavor reduction in the tanks, I can definitely taste a difference in the same juice between when I drip it and when I fill a tank with it.

Why would 30% be a bad thing?

It depends on your taste buds. I am an old lady who smoked for half a century - thus my taste buds are dead. I have been doing DIY for over a year now and if i do not mix my e-liquid with at least 50% flavoring I can not even taste it. But most people can not stand more then 20% flavorings.
