I am using the ego-c twist on my vivi nova. Are there any symptoms that will indicate when a battery is starting to die? I don't mean when does it need a charge. I mean does a battery show signs that it's nearing the end of it's life and will need to be replaced? Do the draws get weaker, or does it last less time on a full charge or does it just die suddenly without warning?

A related question, i know that regular batteries can die eventually even if they are never used. Is that true for Li-ions?

Thanks,

Fredd

As a battery ages it will lose its former ability to hold its full charge status. That results in not lasting as long during use compared to being new. Some batteries will also just "die" without warning, but there is usually some indications that this situation is coming before that happens, such as the above decreased ability to hold a charge.

batteries lose their charge even when they are not being used while in a storage state.

Thanks. I found some old batteries in a drawer and charged them. While they did charge, it seems like the draws are weaker than normal.

Also, on my current batteries, they seem to be going faster - i.e. one will run out before the one in the charger is done. I've been trying to figure out if i've been vaping more than usual or not.
