How do I know when to chuck my cartomizer?

The butterscotch and custard ones have been going fairly constantly for 8 days. The filler is looking a bit fluffy, but aside from that they seem ok. How will I know when they are near the end?

Will they stop creating vapor, or what?

Hi Elpha...when the cartomizer starts it downward slide, the draw will start to get hard. Think of sucking a milkshake through a straw. At that point, either clean it or toss it. Hope this helps.

I usually trash them once they start to lose flavor. Some people wash them, but it's never worked well for me. 9 days usage is very good!

They have a little teensy, weensy siren built into them that will start sounding for 15 seconds when they are worn out.

Some people boil used cartos to clean them. I prefer mine deep fried.
