I am very very new to DIY. I have been at this vaping thing for almost 3 years and still haven't found an all day vape. I was not a menthol smoker but the one juice that has been a staple has been a menthol one. I bought 18mg 50/50 pg/vg for my mixing and bought some menthol, mango and peach. What do I need to buy so that I can make this taste fruity with menthol instead of tasting like cough syrup. It taste ok if I just put a couple of drops of the menthol in 3 ml of liquid but when I had the fruit its cough syrup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to check into Koolada. It gives a cool sensation, and several people use it to gain the cool without changing the flavor.
I am having better luck adding peppermint and spearmint for minty tastes rather than pure menthol. They are not as strong and are not as cough dropy.

Try mixing the Koolada and menthol together, just use less menthol. I use this combo in pretty much everything I make since I'm a menthol addict. I use Koolada at 2% and menthol at 1%.
Try letting it steep for a week or so. That sometimes helps with "perfumy" fruit mixes. Also, sometimes too high a percentage of fruit flavoring yields cough syrup.
