Every time I vape my DIY Coughdrop juice. I wake up in the morning and cough up some of my 25 years of smoking tar. I think it's the Eucalyptus oil. For thousands of years, people have used this for medicinal purposes. I also added lots of menthol. Black Cherry and Strawberry. Tastes like Halls Mentholyptus. I will continue to vape this every night, and maybe my lungs will be pink again...:D

I have a night time liquid for nasal congestion it's made with menthol crystals, koolada & blackberry. I haven't seen any signs of lung crust but then I wasn't looking for it................ until now. Eucalyptus Oil is a great idea, does it need to be mixed with PGA first?
Perfumers Apprentice - Eucalyptus (menthol)
This is what I use.. Mix at 1%

Hmm, I thought the advice was to avoid essential oils?
(Or really any oils.)

OTOH a few drops of essential oils* in some kind of ceramic cup over a tea-candle is a popular "natural" remedy for lots of things, either as just a room scent or (when diluted with quite a bit of water) actively inhaled with a towel over your head as a tent... So all oils, in all concentrations, can't be "OMG!11 my lungs will explode and I'll die!11!" -dangerous.

(*though often what you buy is diluted with alcohol, it is good to ask and read labels really carefully!)

I've already did my homework on it's safety.. About a year ago..

Would you mind sharing your thought processes on the issue of essentials oil?
(And if you still have them easily available, the sources that influenced your thoughts most?)

On the one hand there's the never ever absolutely not -recommendations.
But OTOH we are
1) talking about very small amounts, and
2) many possibly interesting ingredients (like your eucalyptus) are things that have traditionally been used in in applications where part of the idea is that you inhale it.
(And: 2)ii) it's not like anyone has ever recommended using respirators or being careful not to breathe in the scents of massage-oils or things like that. When I dissolve a certain traditional eucalyptus candy in hot water I can even *see* the oil on the surface, and deeply inhaling the steam from this before you drink it is definitely the traditional way of enjoying it.)
