How do I prevent Poly Fil from getting into my atomizer?

Yeah, I found Fluval to be worse than the polyfill, tbh. Burned a couple of carts and it doesn't wick well.

I am really liking the blue sponges from strictly ejuice. I didn't at first but after cutting them in half they work much better in a 510 cart.

I would love to find out what exactly these sponges are.
