510 atomizer frustration

I just purchased some brand new 510 atomizers manufactured from SLB. Despite soaking them in Smoker's Polident overnight they still last only 2 days. Those atomizers are CLEAN after the soak.

Surely atomizers can last longer than that. I can only conclude they manufactured cheaply. Why can't they be made to last longer?

What can I do? Does anybody have any ideas?

Stick with Joye atties. Or better yet switch to low resistance cartomizers. They last a long time are cheap, easy to refill, give a bigger hit and are more convienient. I bought five of the SLB atties from a very relieable supplier. He said they worked great on his 5 volt box mod. I went through 3 of them in the first two days. He sent me replacements and they didn't last much longer even though I used them on a standard 3.7 volt 510. I heard that SLB made a bad batch and although this could be correct I'm not going to take the chance again. I spent $35 and got at most a couple of weeks total out of them. For that much I could have bought 25 low resistance cartomizers. Not only would it have lasted me months but the vapor production and ease of use would have been better.

Good luck and happy vaping.

Well, I guess the issue is quality control with the 510 atomizers. I have heard that is the major issue when dealing with Chinese manufacturers.

Thanks, I will try the cartomizers next time I oder. I didn't realize you could refill them. I thought they were one time use.

If the FDA ever rules on e-cigs, I expect the tobacco companies will get in the game and produce an atomizer that lasts.

Thanks!

1. What voltage are you pushing the atomizers at?
2. I would never suggest soaking an atomizer in anything that you wouldn't normally swallow.
3. When you get a new atomizer, you shouldn't need to do more than blow out any primer, give it a couple quick fires, drip liquid, and then go from there
4. You may want to speak with the vendor you purchased from. They may replace them since they died so fast.
5. You're right...the QC on atomizers is non-existent

I do not know what voltage they are. They are not what the vendor calls high or low voltage. I don't have a meter.

The voltage depends on the battery or mod ability to output. Atomizers are measured in Ohms of resistance.

Are you using a mod or a standard 510 battery? Are you using standard resistance or low resistance atomizers?

If you can't answer those basic questions, then chances are good you're not doing something right, which in turn is causing the failure.

I am using a standard battery and standard resistance atomizer. Would I get better results otherwise? I am just looking for the cheapest way to vape.

Thanks.

The cheapest price isn't always the cheapest way.

If you're dripping, you should wait for the atomizer to cool down before redripping.
You could be over stressing the atomizer by chain vaping. Let the atomizer cool down.
If you are using darker liquids, they are known to gunk up the atomizer and kill them off sooner.
It could be the soaking in Polident! If you feel the need to clean them first, use a pure grain alcohol or distilled water.
