How do I properly inhale?

Recently I took the step to move to a vapor instead of cigarettes.

So I got a nautilus tank with a ELeaf 30w istick battery.

Now, I've noticed that some people do inhale into their mouth, then inhale it to their lungs whilst others seems to be taking it directly into their lungs. What's the difference? I find it extremely smooth and easy for my throat to inhale into my mouth first, but I feel more effect when I inhale directly into my lungs, even if it burns a little.

PG and VG. What should I use with my current setup? I read something about PG being harser on the coil or something similar.

What doze of nicotin should I have in my ejuice? I used to smoke up to a pack a day, however I'm not sure what kind of amounts I should use currently and when I try to look at guides, they seem to be slightly different.

And last of it all, what kind of flavours would you recommend to a beginner? I currently smoke Saber Blood, but I really want to try out some new stuff.

Sorry for all the questions in a wall, any tips would be appreciated!

The Nautilus doesnt give you enough airflow for direct lung inhalation.

There is no right or wrong way. Do it the way that works for you and keeps you off the stinkies.

Hi & welcome! I am now using the iStick 30W with the Aspire Nautilus too (took over my daughter's because she can't get in to vaping yet). Anyway, I started m2l inhales because it was most like an analog. I do find, though, that I can do direct lung inhale with the Nautilus when it's on the largest airflow position. I was smoking 20 a day and am finding that 12mg nic juice does me just fine. It will be different for everyone. The juice I use (UTurn) I have read is 60/40 VG/PG and still provides the throat hit that I like (very similar to analog). I was told when we bought that set up that the Aspire Nautilus should be used at a maximum of 16-18W, so although you can go to 30, it's not recommended with that tank/atomizer. As for flavours, I love menthol tobacco by UTurn and the Mellon Ice by them as well. They're cheap enough that I can try a few to see what might work in something a little higher quality down the road.

Have fun & enjoy!

During the 6 weeks I spent as a dual user I was trying to lung inhale my Nautilus mini. Then for a while I was lung inhaling an Atlantis tank which had the more open air supply for that. After a few more months I noticed I preferred mouth to lung after all and have been doing that ever since with the more restricted air supply. A brother of mine has been vaping only a nautilus mini MTL since he started vaping 18 months ago.

SuckMyVape, I just wonder if you did get the ''soar throat'' feeling when you first started inhaling directly to your lungs (I get it directly when I inhale, but it does go away after I've exhaled, about 10 seconds after) and if so, did it go away after getting used to it?
I use the largest airflow with 15W, seems decent for me currently.

For that tank, I would go with 50/50 blends. For your nic, I would try a flavor (or even unflavored; it would be easiest and cheapest) at 12, and 24 mg/mL. If the 24 mg/mL is too high, try the 12 mg/mL. If the 12 mg/mL is too low, add equal parts of 12 and 24 mg/mL and get to 18 mg/mL.

If the 12 mg/mL is too high, get some 0 mg/mL and repeat the above. This is most easily and cheaply accomplished when using unflavored.

Hey Macauley...with the Nautilus, I do direct only a small part of the time, mostly I do m2l but the first few times I did direct on my hubby's Pico, yes, I coughed because of the throat hit but I absolutely did get used to it.

On the IStick, I run it at 11.5W and that does the trick for me!

30W is far too high to run a Nautilus IME - anything up to about 12W seems to be the sane limit on that tank...

I should have said that although the iStick will go to 30W, the Nautilus (as told to us by the vape shop dude...lol) should only be run at an absolute maximum of 16-18W. I guess my post made it seem as though I was suggesting that the Nautilus could be run at 30W...not at all what I meant!

I run it at 11.5 and am very happy with the results: no cloud chasing here or anything but good flavour and decent vapor production.

Exact same power I use my Nautilus Mini.

I use Nautilus Tanks and I can do MTL oir DTL whenever I want but for the style of Vaping you should use is totally up to you and what makes you the most satisfied with a pleasant smooth vape. Others can suggest or recommend but only you can know what is right for you.

Good Luck and Vape On - Vape Safe

I must admit... (as we are in confession)... that as I try to keep down the watts for work I tend to MTL using Nautilus/GS/Kayfun/Cubis. Theoretically, you can DTL on anything if you don't mind slipstreaming (carb'ing).

The rest of the time, who knows. Can you even MTL using some of the higher-air-flow RDAs? I doubt it.
(Not unless you count 0.5 seconds per draw as realistic vaping)

I tried MTL vaping the very first Subtank with a slim drip tip. I think I got to 0.8 seconds before maximum capacity. Maybe I have a small mouth.... but that can't be right, reviewing my posts on here.
