DIY all the way, it's pretty simple to do. Head over to the DIY sub forum here on ECF and check out some tutorials. I order from Wizard labs for my nic and amazon I buy vg/pg in quarts for the cheapest price.

Flavoring I get from The Flavor Apprentice and I buy in bulk through their wholesale program (you can buy larger bottles) and I get about 4 oz for 8 bucks and it lasts me a really..really...really long time.

A simpler and still cost effective way is to order unflavored nicotine ejuice. Very cheap... Then order their flavorings. Mount baker vapor sells all that too. Start at 12% flavoring, taste test, then add another percent until you reach your desired taste. Much cheaper than ejuice. Easy too.
Yes. I got that part. But again, isn't adding flavoring going to dilute the nicotine level when added to the unflavored base? If one mixes 12% with unflavored 24mg juice... you effectively end up with a solution of what, 21mg nicotine?

My target is 24mg. Mt. Vapor sells this in 36mg nicotine strength so that means I can add 33% flavor to that and still get 24mg of nic.

Damn it! Where is a rocket scientist when you need one!?!? :D

It only dilutes the base by a very very minute amount. You won't even be able to tell.

Exactly! All DIY should come with a scientist. Ha.

Yes adding the flavoring will dilute the nicotine level.

Yes adding 12% with the 24mg could drop you down to 21 mg..... but it is the TASTE test that really counts.

So don't be afraid to try it. If you want 24mg, I think chances are you'll find 21 just fine, and if not, just start with the 36mg, and dilute from there.

If you post a starting set here on ECF in the DIY forum and post what you want the outcome to be, you will definitely get answers and even find calculators to work it out for you.

Also, 24mg 50/50 VG/PG is going to hit harder than 24mg 70/30 VG/PG, so it is not the nicotine alone that will count; go ahead and experiment a little; the taste test is what counts in the end.

Don't be intimidated by DIY. We have each other to rely on. I've bought only one premixed e-juice at a discount and it won't happen again. I was sent a free sample at one time and it was totally great. DIY is cost efficient! Just under $0.06 a mil! Are the flavors ok? There great! I have saved drastically over the initial expense of the starting cost.

After doing tons of research, MT Baker seems the best. Its got so many good reviews on flavor, the customization is great and if you do your math, you can a 1ml/25 cents or even less for a $15 order including shipping. MUCH better than the 1ml/1$ + tax I've been getting at local vape shops.

However, I will not stop visiting vape shops for juices, simply because you can sample the flavors and you might miss out on something great. I've found an insanely, amazing juice called Venom from Bamskilicious.
