This is the mostly metal version, or second release of xhale's product line.

After having my questions deleted from their facebook page, and being ignored by their other contact methods...simply asking If it were 100% american made...and if their circuitry was isolated from airflow. And what material was used at the soldering points, if it were in the air-flow. BTW the package states it's made in china, fluid is US made.

Until i can find one that is 100% made in the usa...that i can walk into a store and buy, for $5.

I need to do what i can to re-fill and safe guard my current device i can use. I avoid regular cigs whenever possible now. After only 5 days, my sense of taste and smell and breathing capacity have vastly improved. My mind and thought processes are no longer cloudy...Breathing in smoke just seems ......ed now that we have other options.

I just don't want to break it takeing it apart doing so...If anyone has any experience takeing this version apart successfully. please let me know how.

Finding any how to's or diagrams of it's internal parts has been nearly impossible. We may have to do it ourselves and submit photos and proper documentation ourselves. :glare:

I'm sorry but I don't have any info for you or experience with this device to share with you. I just wanted to say Hi and welcome to the ECF. I'd suggest you reply to everyone who responds to this thread in order to get your number of posts up so you can participate in the other forums here (you're limited to the New Members Forum until you get 5 posts).

I looked on the xhale web site and saw that these appear to have a standard KR808D threading. There are Youtube videos of someone taking one of those batteries apart and fixing broken wires - I saw a reference to it when I watched a video of a guy fixing an ego compatible battery. I hope that helps. If not, there are plenty of 808 compatible battery vendors available that have good products and will respond and help you if you run into problems with their equipment. I can personally recommend Vapor4Life and cropduster901, but many of the sponsored vendors here (see tab at top of page) carry this type of equipment.

Hope this helps you get working equipment and have fun vaping. Take care.

awesome, yes this will help in re-filling it and cleaning out the propylene glycol. Just need to cap the hole...just 1 gram of this stuff can be fatal..

Since the air passes over the outside it comes into contact with plastic and the metal casing...heating it can release bad chemicals in both to be released...nickel should be used...not sure what is...

There is a threaded end that attaches to the battery, i'd like to remove this and inspect that too.

starting to wonder what kind of heating element is used.

Your reply also helped in searching for relevant stuff... hope i can find something.
