I'm thinking about taking a bit of hot glue to mine and sticking mine in the button lol
I had mine apart this morning cleaning contacts and that little sucker almost got away from me.
Worse than jumping beans I swear lmao

I have a Protege so I imagine the V2's spring is a bit bigger but..
Perhaps find a spring from a clicky ball point pen? May work until you can get a replacement.

Woohoo...woohoo. I tried the suggestion for using an ink pen spring. Mind you, I'm NOT mechanically inclined, lol...plus I have arthritis in my hands so EVEN snipping the little sucker in half wasn't easy but I did manage it!!!!

The button now seems to work better than it did with its original spring.
