how do you attach a reply within a thread to your reply?

sorry, i am as noob to social media as i am vaping. i have searched for the answer and can't find info on this anywhere within the ecf. also what is a sticky? how do they emerge? if you blog a thread or reply, what does that mean? really enjoying the access to ecf info just want to know how to fully utilize. many vets have ads/counters of their quit smoking days attached to their posts. all these how-tos need to be easy to find in the new members forum. somehow i have missed the boat. show some love. please

"Stickies" are threads at the top of the forums that stay there (are stuck there). They contain information on various topics and are not discussion threads.

If you click "reply" the reply you type in the text box will appear in the thread. If you click "reply with quote" the specific quote you clicked on will appear at the top of your reply, as it is here. A very useful function, so other members will know what you are commenting about.

Clicking on "Blog this post" will copy the post to your blog section.

If you would like a quit banner, find one you like, click on it and it should take you to a page where you can copy the code into the text box of your signature. Your signature is accessed from your "Settings" page, it's about 1/2 way down the page on the left side.
