How do you avoid the dreaded no charged battery?

I have M402 stuff and like it. I have a 2 batteries I alternate while charging the other (with AC or PCC) but sometimes I still get caught with no charged battery. Been vaping 2 weeks and it has happened to me twice already, once at work and once at home. Once a battery I thought I had charging in the PCC just didn't charge. Another time I put a mostly drained battery on AC charger overnight and when I swapped to it during the day, it was still mostly drained and lasted about 10 minutes.

I do have a 3rd battery but I'm saving it in case a battery fails. I don't have enough M401 battery to USB adapters to charge 3 overnight, and I can only fit 2 in the PCC which is what I bring to work.

Today I shelled out for 2 passthrus (one for work and one for home), 2 more 401 to USB adapters, and another 4-port USB charger that can handle up to 2 amps total at 5v (should handle a PT at 1000mA and 2 charging batteries at 500mA each if necessary). So that theoretically should handle any battery emergencies at work and at home.

That's my solution so far - what's yours?

Quit using the starter kits and the PCC, and bought Joye eGo batteries. Have six 900s, two 1000s, and one 1300 (which I rarely use, might drip with it a couple of times each week). I also tried passthroughs (have seven) and quit using them, too, since it's so much easier to just grab one of the eGos and not have any cables, wall adapters, and USB hubs to mess around with.

I usually have to charge one eGo each day and sometimes two (using eGo fast USB chargers and 2amp AC to USB wall adapters), but I vape fairly constantly (like 6mL per day). Use KR808D-1 premium cartomizers all the time. After about 9 weeks, I've eliminated all the hassles and everything's perfect now...including the liquid mixture I vape 100% of the time (RY4, caramel, nut mix, and apple from FSUSA...it's better than great, especially since they've all steeped for about five weeks...there can't be anything better).

Thats one of the many problems with those tiny little analog size kits. I like being able to go 8 hours on a charge. I doubt that many have this issue due to converting to better batteries. Another problem you will encounter is that the small stock batteries can only be recharged about 200 times. A 14500 or RCA123 can be recharged about 2000 times per the manufacturer. My guess is that it is more like 1000 to 1500 times.

The first time I experienced "battery panic", I nearly freaked out... I was at work, one battery on the charger, the other... dead.

I pulled the 1/4 charged battery off the charger, and vaped it dead... I had NOTHING to vape, and hours of charging ahead of me... I had been vaping about a week, and realized I needed another battery in rotation, so I purchased one... I remember thinking "this would NEVER happen again"...

I then Ordered a Blu... the PCC seemed like good insurance... until a week later I was at BWI airport with two dead Blu batteries, a dead PCC and two dead Pen Style 801s... The panic happened again...

USING MY iPhone... I logged onto an eCig site and purchased TEN 510 batteries... lol... TEN of them! I also bought the ten port battery charger...

I now use 14500 and CR123 batteries and MODs...

I HATE battery panic, and it's worse FOR ME, than not being able to smoke, which I will not do, even if I have dead batteries.

I now carry about 5 BIG batteries, a couple cartos, and a bottle of juice with me, in my briefcase. No more Panic!

I still own about 15 510 batteries, and use them on occasion, around the house or going out for a bit, but man, I really hate not having batteries!

So, the answer to the question is simple... HAVE EXTRA BATTERIES, and enough of them so you won't ever have the dreaded "Battery Panic".

Anybody think I might be overdoing it?????

I've got 2 650mah egos and 2 900mah egos, along with a new box mod I just made yesterday with 2 900mah 14500s for that. I'm feeling pretty good about batteries, as I plan on making my next order in January. I'm making a 24+hr drive in a week or so and I figure if I have everything charged and set up when I start there is no way I can run everything dead. I was feeling very paranoid about that drive with only 2 650s and no car charger.

I only have 2 eGo 1300mAh batts and 2 eGo 650mAh batts.(1300 = mine and 650 = boyfriends) Dang! I am thinking I need to get more now. lol So far it is working out for both of us but if one of those were to go I'd be in sheer panic mode.

I would really love a 900 pink eGo (well, two) but then I need to buy matching attys and cones. My 1300 is stainless. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions....

Get more batteries, simple as that. As long as everyone is listing their batt collection I will too. 4 standard 510's with pcc, 5 x 900mah Mega eGo's, 4 x 900mah 14500's for one box mod, 4 x 3000mah 18650's for the Maxi Roughstack and 4 x 16340's for 6v on the Roughstack, 4 more 14500's for another boxmod. I have 2 chargers for each of them too, what's worse than having a dead battery? Not being able to charge them. Am I paranoid about not having my vape? It sure looks that way doesn't it?

Nice setup, lol. Are those batteries in the middle KR808 with adapters on a 510 multi charger ?

I just ordered 4 USB chargers recently and plan on using a USB hub I have around for multi charging...

It's actually all 510's in the middle with the Ego batts on the ends on adapters. Since I got the ego batts I have not used the 510 batteries at all less problems, more current.

Make sure your USB Hub will pass power, some don't. Also, I have no idea, but the USB ports on the laptop are only capable of so many milliamp's. Not sure though what the exact draw is or when a particular USB port can be overwhelmed.
