nope, rinsing doesn't hurt the atomizer. remember, it's usually surrounded by saturated, wet filler anyways. that said i wouldn't rinse it with like, a firehose.

i store mine empty and dry for the most part, and no harm seems to come to them.

the only advantage to me of cleaning with vodka is that it dries very quickly, but i am content to let mine dry overnight and not pay for my cleaning supplies. and, really, you don't have to let the cart dry to refill and vape; just blow it out well.

I just run my under a little stream of water that is warm to remove old juice,
Not a heavy stream or it will upset the filler material..

blow out and let dry and then refill..

They last awhile longer. I never use PGA to clean cartos although you could I guess..

Cleaning does not runin them. They will only last so long anyways..

I've really been working on honing my washing/filling methods. Nothing I do I haven't learned in forums mostly here. I'm not a super "green" person but running water to wash out a bunch of carts seem like a huge waste.

My latest method is to boil a cup of distilled water in the microwave an pour that in bowl holding the carts. I fill up the cup with more distilled water and start it to boil. I let the carts soak a couple mins and then blow them out. I do this three times.

My thinking is the boiled water is going to loosen things up faster. Kill any nasties that might be in the cart. I use distilled water cause using it a cup at a time its pretty cheap and I'm not risking adding anything that might be in my city water supple.

I do this when I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner so I'm there anyways. I cap them and set them aside till I'm ready to fill them. Before I fill them I put six carts in a battery bag and do the reverse Taryn spin. Amazing how much water can still be left in them. I would just let them dry but I read or thought I read that can ruin the carts.

Shannonekgs, don't worry a bit about ruining carts from cleaning them. I wouldn't clean them every time, mind you, but all of mine have gone through a couple of washings with no problems whatsoever. I don't use anything but warm water but have read a couple of times now about letting them soak in just-under boiling water and that seems like a might fine idea.
Callofthevapor - never thought of doing the Taryn spin (that gal ought to win an award or something for that amazing tip!!). I do that all the time when I have refilled as it makes an amazing difference to the quality of the refill but it only makes sense to use the same method to get rid of the last of the water.
That's what I love about this place ... you're always learning great stuff from everyone!

That sounds easy enough! What is the taryn spin? I've heard about but never seen a link or video.

BTW, I refilled my cartomizer for the first time last night and I must of done it right since I'm vaping it right now! Yay. When I started reading all the info on here I was sooo overwhelmed! It's really not that hard!

Because of people like you all, of course!
