What is the standard for the care/cleaning/maintenance of the V4Life cartos?

I have been refilling mine since new but after 4 or 5 fills that don't seem to last as long and I get that "burnt" taste sooner. I am overfilling them so I know they aren't dry.

Does anyone clean these in hot water, dry them out, and use them again? If so - what is your procedure? (I have done this with other brand cartos)

Do the labels come off when you soak them?

I want to save money by extending their life, but don't want to end up with a mess!

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!:)

Take off the rubber/plastic caps, and boil for about ten minutes.
Drain. Boil again for another ten minutes. Drain.
Blow as much liquid out as possible onto a paper tower (blow
from mouth end of carto). Stand upright at a slight angle to
let air in the bottom as well, and dry. I dry them for at least
a week. I haven't had any problem with using the boiled carts.
The paper doesn't come off, but sometimes comes a little
loose at the seam. I only have a few duds out of a batch
of fifty or so. Good Luck.

Edited because I wrote "let air in the bottle" instead of the "bottom"
*sigh

I used to go thru all the cart cleaning and stuff and now I just top the carts off with 10 to 15 drops when they get to vaping light. They will show signs of getting weaker after the 4th to 5th refill and I shift them to the ones I use on the passthru. This extra power extends them out a little further. Bottom line if I get around 5 refils, I'm happy. I just got tired of all the cleaning efforts. I'll rotate thru about five carts and keep those on hand until they poop out and chunk 'um. Good luck.

Say to one specific flavor, each cart I will vape until it needs a refill, refill with 15-20 drops, vape untill refill, 15-20 drops, vape until refill, ect... Once the carts starts to get weak I put it aside and use it on the passthrough and grab a new cart and repeat. If I am out for awhile, I'll grab 3 flavors, 2 carts of each flavor and do the same. Just keep refilling them till refills get too weak on batts then move to the passthrough and start with a fresh cart for the batts.

I've cleaned my v4l coolcarts several times and they are still working fine. I have since switched to the cermic carts because i like the vapor better and they just seem to make a smoother vapor, not sure how to explain that one. Anyhow answer to your question, yes, they hold up very well to boiling, cleaning. Also after i clean then instead of waiting on them to air dry, i do the reverse taryn spin and refill immediately with no problems.

I just cleaned a bunch for the first time, based on this video: YouTube - How to Clean E-cigarette Cartomizers (KR808D-1 Compatible)

I didn't quite boil the water all the way, though, just heated it until it got "noisy" in the kettle. And I'm glad I took the extra step of shooting water through them with a modified turkey injector. Seemed to help get the old flavors out. Also, it was fun!

The labels haven't budged.

Thanks for all of the replies so far! In the past I have placed cartos in hot water and then forced water through them with a large syringe and a rubber pencil grip. Then I pump the syringe at least 25 times to force all the water out that I can - problem is - my arms get tired of all that pumping! LOL I am going to get a turkey baster and see if that's easier!
