Yeah the title pretty much says it all, a buddy of mine just ran out of his carts on his 901 and tried the dripping method, but something somewhere went horribly wrong haha so I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of some directions for the "proper" dripping method without frying your cig.

yeah basically get ur liquid and drip 2-3 drops on the wick (metal arch bit in the middle) and avoid the liquid going in the sides AT ALL COSTS. if it does go to the sides take ur atty out and blow gently on the battery end until the gargling sound stops. then ur ready to go.

Most people use manual switch batteries to drip since they are sealed and most/all (?) automatics aren't so if it's a 901 automatic switch you should take special care when dripping or you can bork the battery. As for the atty, this shouldn't be an issue, as long as you blow it out at some point. a flooded atty just doesn't vape or doesn't vape well and it makes a gurgling sound (until you suck too hard and get a mouthful of juice)
the atty should be fine if u blow the excess liquid. the battery on the hand should be more tricky if its an auto switch (get a manual btw they are so much better) try dipping the end in water, make sure its just the end, like 1-2mm. then leave it to dry in the sun or near a heater. this should work.
also i would recommend dripping from now on. once u get the hang of it u will love it, you will also get a nicer throat hit, and between 5-20% more vapor depend on ur model of e cig. good luck.

Honestly since my vape cost me a bit I use the totally wicked (tried to plug link but don't have 15 posts yet so goto the sponsors section then totally wicked and check out the refillable blank carts) refillable carts with my juices I tried the "lipton pyramid" drip method and had serious issues so decided to order the blank carts from totally wicked and they work F'in amazing... good job totally wicked. The cart for my preferred vape (I own 3) only holds 4-5 drops per cart but hey it vapes like a beast and the batt's last me all day no prob. (I want to try a manual battery though see if it lasts longer.)
Try an eDobit. Just fill it up with juice and dab it on the atty about 6 or 7 times. Works without fail every time. No flooding, no messing with carts. ( I hope it's OK to plug stuff here!)
bruce....So you are drawing right from the atomizer? No cart tips at all?

Many people draw direct just using dripping/dipping and a blank cart. You can use a filled cart if you wish but a atomizer dripped or dipped will give about 10-15 good hits before you need to drip/dip it again.
