Welcome, your going to love your MVP. Toppers are an individual taste much like juices. For the I30 try about 4.2V. Here is some reading for you http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/473345-itaste-mvp-v2-owners-group.html

There is a huge huge thread if you search mvp owners or something like that. I love mine. Battery power forever and ever, its the energizer bunny of APVs.
pretty mine :image.jpg

Only issue I have is my protank 2 keeps getting stuck. Like need pliers to get it off stuck. Weirdness. Everything else is peachy;)
Have fun and hope you enjoy a purrrfect vape once you get that bad boy!

3 words: Simplicity, longevity, reliability.

They have plenty of power. A single charge will last some folks multiple days. You don't need to buy batteries or chargers to make them work. They are easy to use. They are compact. You can use pretty much any cell phone charger cord to charge them. In a pinch, you can use them to power your cell phone or iPod. And you can buy 5 of them for the price of 1 Provari <ducking>...

I'm pretty sure I heard someone requesting a pot stir...

I am getting the iTaste MVP and I was wondering if anyone here uses it. How do you like it? What tank setup do you use with it? I'm going with the iClear 30 for now, but I'm wondering if there's not something better out there? Also, it comes in multiple Ohms ... what would you recommend as a "starting point"?

Not sure about the MVP, but the VTR (MVP's big brother) works great with the protank 2 or the iclear 30.

The MVP is a must-have. Just get it. It's wonderful.

As to the iClear, I'd say try some other things, I'm not a huge fan of the iClear, I know some people swear by them, but I just found it hard to pull on, and wasn't very consistent. I have the Curious George gene anyway, so my curiosity will lead me to try everything, eventually. Luckily, a lot of the different tanks and tips are somewhat cheap. You can't go wrong with a Kanger Pro II or a Pro II Mini, and you should try cartomizers at least once, or have one if you're going to use the same flavor for a long time - the vapor and taste is superior, and works perfectly on an MVP. You can also try a drip tip, or a rebuildable - that's what is great about the MVP, it works with just about anything with the right size connection.

Plus, multiple backups are always a good thing! That's another thing I don't like about the iClears, they just feel flimsy to me, and that plastic tank just wouldn't last long with me - the Kanger gear is solid and takes a beating, and keeps going.

Edit: One more thing, if you have a brick and mortar shop you can go to, go visit and ask if they can let you try different things. The shops I go to do this with no problems - I tried my MVP before I bought it, and they let me sample a carto before I got into them as well.

At first I wasn't sure about the box. But I kept draining my egos at a horrendous rate & needed the battery life.

I've been vaping on my MVP 2 for about 4 weeks now and I love it! Currently I'm using Kanger Protank II's on it and gave up on the iClear that came with it because plastics and top coil attys just aren't my thing. Plus, now that I've started rebuilding my own coils, it's a nice features to be able to check my new coil builds on the MVP 2. Eventually I'll get a multimeter and a more expensive device, but for now, I've been really happy with it. It takes me 2-3 days before it needs a charge, fits in my inside coat pocket, fits in my back pocket (though I'm careful not to sit down on it,) and for $40 this thing is just a true workhorse.

I love love love mine!!! Great step up from my spinner. I almost bought a back up one on black friday, but sunk my money into new juices instead lol its a wondeeful device and simple to use for someone like me who is easing my way into the large and opinionated world of vaping. Luckily I have a few friends with more experience than me, so I have had some guidance along the way. This device was DEFINITELY included in that advice.
